I think the option on Shanley will be with the club. Personally I’m not sure he’s shown enough to justify a deal. I would put the money towards a striker who can challenge Maciver.

In fairness there have been times this season that if MacIver got injured we would be dangerously light up front. I think we need to have three strikers, right now MacIver, Allan, and a challenger for MacIver, but if Allan leaves we definitely will need someone else in.

Thanks BB. I was certain they had a go pro or something similar recording from behind the net at one point. I must stress I still pay for the service regardless of the replays. If they could add goal replays that would really solve my main gripe. The behind the goals camera would also be good but it's not exactly essentially.

I've watched most of the games on FFCTV this season and there has been replays for both of the last two matches after not having them for a number of weeks, hopefully just an issue they have sorted.

We had a perfectly adequate ballot system at the start of the season

    Why not bring this back?

If you got a ticket for one game, you had less chance the next as the people who missed out went to the top of the queue.

This queuing up bollocks, make it more likely to spread the virus.

The difference here is we can now get 150 people in on a jolly- Now the rest can go f**k yourself!!

I remember the crowds being a lot lower than the capacity for those games, definitely would rather have 500 people who could definitely be there than have 200 tickets go to waste.

So I thought the whole “burying the story” idea was to release the news as close to 5PM , on a Friday afternoon, as possible. You can also release another (more palatable) story to bury it further…maybe a fan’s Q and A? Maybe Rawlins is running a jobs scheme with the Council? How many people is that on the staff now versus the squad, because it seems a bit unbalanced in League One.

P.S. Why do the Q and A three days after the Airdrie game instead of a weekly two earlier after the East Fife game, seems a typically poor decision.

Presumably that's when the Rawlins are over.

Totten was also told that Jock Wallace would be his mentor and Totten would take over at Rangers when he retired ala Crunchie at Falkirk, that didn't also happen.

Totten was a novice in management and if he took his career serious, then it was a no brainer to move.

You can't please everyone but he did please the majority and by fuk made us plenty coin doing so.

As for the club doing well off the park, by fuk it's been pretty quiet off the park and I don't see anyone handing out masses of praise, all I see is people enjoying the football on the park and taking it game by game.

The club won't be back on track for me till we are back challenging at the top of the championship but unfortunately I can't go back in time or forward and have to live in the now

Also going from a part time gig to a full time one which will always turn heads in football.

You would think they would've done something for central dem after they have backed the club for so long. A simple thank you etc would have been nice to see and would surely have perhaps encouraged them to come back at some point in the future if finances allowed. Nothing after so many years is pretty poor if you ask me.

To be fair it would be a bit mental to do something like that publicly when the new kit isn't released yet.

Here it is. I've posted it before.

I don't think it's impossible to overstate how absolutely batshit insane this was. They've removed the 'original' soundtrack from YouTube (presumably for copyright grounds) but IIRC it was some kind of bizarre techno remix of the MOTD theme.

This was a repressed memory I didn't need to know I had.

At least it's not one of the usual jobbers  that constantly does the rounds.

When you think about it he fits into the role of the plans the Rawlins apparently have. If he was bringing through players into the Aberdeen  squad then they will hope he does something similar here so they can move them on, if he is given any time that is.

    We wait in trepidation.

That's the thing for me, comes with a decent coaching pedigree and will hopefully play some decent football but just glad it's something a bit different from same old manager circuit, think Jim Mcintyre would have finished me off.

You forgot about the wonderful intervention by our then commercial manager threatening legal action against our own support for copyright infringement on something that wasn’t covered by a copyright.

Was that not Calamity Campbell's first real screw up?
