  1. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again...in football money talks. Just a pity we have none or very little. The Rawlins have not invested any more and GD (+ Rawlins) have rejected £600k. With that level of cash we could easily tempt players to the club.
  2. Interesting to see that the Board members and apologists on here are now notable by their absence. Their silence on this topic is deafening. Banta, Pedro et al....where are you and how are you going to defend this one?
  3. Will also be interesting to see if Luigi states who the question is from or if its all anonymous. 100% that they wil be prepared questions from BoD friends and family with prepared statements. Maybe, just maybe one difficult question thrown in to look good.... but they probably still know what it is and have the answer before its recorded. If they don't then they can always re-record. Why on Earth did the PR Guru at the club and Deans think this format is a good idea ? Think I said previously, as transparent as a black hole. They have also basically thrown Luigi under a bus. Ask us nice questions and everything will be good, but the fans will take you to task.... ask not so nice questions and we will cut it out from the pre-recorded video and you will be out on your ear from next season. Rock and a hard place for wee Lewis C. It should be done live on a zoom call, with questions from the floor, or not at all.
  4. Want to post on why the current BoD are so great ? Why you actively have a negative comment on anything that perhaps asks questions of Rawlins and the BoD ? Maybe you may want to post on my previous question I posed to you re Fulston ?
  5. I am not going to apologise for my comments on how the BoD and Rawlings have treated the CI guys. Thats your prerogative not to believe it. As a relative, I find it hard to watch how soul destroying it has been for these guys and how they have been treated. I agree that clarity is needed from the Investors. However, the criticism is well deserved re the BoD. The Rawlins have dangled a carrot in front of Deans so they can keep power and he has responded in kind.
  6. So was Fulston.....and would you like to remind me how that ended ?
  7. When you are willing to stick in £50k of your own cash for hee haw in return then you can join the investors and have a say. The investors Groups was a band of FFC fans willing to put cash, time and effort into returning our club to a position where we all think it should be. As a group they were a cross section of fans and probably as close to fan ownership as we can get at the moment. If I read correctly in previous posts...and you can correct me if Im wrong.... I think they asked for parity with the Rawlins in the Boardroom (whilst injecting much more cash) but that was rejected.
  8. Righty Shagger boy. I'll answer your question if you will answer mines. At first I was impressed with Deans and the way he communicated and indicated the club would be run in future. I was also impressed by Phil Rawlins CV and what he did at Stoke and Orlando. It was my hope that a new broom would sweep away the mismanagement of the past and set us on a new course. However, what I have seen over the last few months have left me feeling that this lot are no better than the last lot. We have ended up in a league position that is as low as it has ever been, maybe with the exception of once before. The Rawlins additional funding has failed to materialise and as posted elsewhere they have not shown anything to suggest that they have changed anything fundamental at the club. For Deans and Rawlins to turn way £600k of investment when we may be struggling financially, is not working in the best interest of the club. We have to remember that these guys are custodians of the club and should not be working against it. If as suspected, it is to keep their positions on the Board and to keep the "power" when they only have 26% ownership then that again is against the best interests of the club. Deans promises of openness and transparency was all to see when winning but he became Mr Invisible when we were on our downward spiral. Now .... on to one of the reasons I have continually posted against the current Board on here. I have a close relative who is one of the CI lads and some of them are friends of mine. I have been fortunate (or unfortunate) to have been kept up to date with what has been going on. The agreements that were made and broken and the obstacles that were put in place by certain individuals at the club. These guys are just fans who wanted to honour Crunchie in an appropriate way. The way they have been treated has been abysmal. I have heard about phone calls from certain individuals at the club berating the CI members and castigating them for the temerity of asking for a "written agreement". I have actually seen letters from an individual, with the content being both totally patronising and disrespectful to lads who, not only have put a powerhouse of time and effort in to get this done, but in reality only want to honour a legend. Remember these guys are doing it for absolutely nothing except their love of the club. .... and before anyone asks..... its not for me to publish letters, indicate the content of the phone calls or highlight those at the club who are involved. I think that has been adequately explained on here why they haven't been made public. One thing though, the message of what has happened needs to be made clear (if not all the minutae detail) so that fans know how our club is being run. To finish, after talking to one of the Investors, I believe that Deans and Rawlings have acted in the same way to them. I don't have the same level of info as I do with the CI situation ...but I heard that several walked away because they couldn't work with people who cared so little for the well being of the club. My "100% accurate comment" was based on the fact I believe they Investors should come out and state who they are and why they walked....similar to the CI guys. Now my question to you.... why are you such a sycophant to the Board of Directors ?
  9. Will we get to see the out-takes ? Pre-recorded and Luigi asking vetted questions. About as transparent as a black hole.
  10. From what I read and know talking to one of the CI guys.....essentially the club had gone back on several agreed ideas for naming of the stand. After agreeing to compromises, the CI guys raised enough cash to complete the work including companies who could implement it at a reasonable cost. The club then indicated they wanted full control of what was to be done, how it was done and by whom, with the CI guys ponying up the cash, but having no say whatsoever. When the CI guys wanted a written assurance that the work would be done properly, in a fitting way to honour Crunchie, a couple members of the Board refused and started to take a hissy fit. I got a little about the personal details re letters and phone calls, but that’s for the CI guys to provide....as there might be more to add than I heard about.
  11. Statement from Camelon Juniors Chairman....I cannot go into this further which I hope everyone will understand that this person is fully cooperating with the financial authorities and should be presumed innocent pending the completion of the investigation. i think that the investigation may still be ongoing, but I’ll accept innocent until proven guilty.
  12. With our lot I would take a 1-0 win. Watching us losing to Peterhead at home is not my idea of fun. Not beating a full time team in almost 2 years is totally unacceptable. Ending up 5th in the Seaside Leagues was not exactly a barrel of laughs.....so who do you blame?
  13. I never said I was a whistle blower. That was someone else. I also didnt blame either club, but individuals of both at the time are involved. As it is in Police Scotland's hands ..... it's pretty obvious I cant comment who it is, but I can mention that it happened. As for your reasoning that the Rawlins are our saviours..... the problem is that they are not clearing the decks. The same Board that left us 5th in the 3rd Division are still there. The investors wanted changes and it was knocked back. But hey ho ! ... have your wee rant.
  14. Its not a supposed letter, it's a factual one as I have seen it..... and as SD states.... there will be no chance of it being posted on here. All will come out in the future, but certainly not on here.
  15. Yep....and I also know the details and who it was..... but I'm not telling you . Lets just say Police Scotland have been informed.
  16. Absolutely. 5th in the Seaside league after being so far in front. Then Deans saying “it was an impossible task for Holt” to get more than 3pts from 5 games would be just laughable, if it wasn’t so soul destroying.
  17. How the tickets were marketed and sold last season. It can be considered a contract between business and consumer. Due to There being a curtailed season, the club should offer a refund.
  18. The SFA. It states in relation to refunds.....”where football clubs, as service providers, are not compliant with consumer law, they may risk action by the local authority or any other enforcer under consumer protection law. .........consumers can also take action themselves, through the courts if necessary. It is important that all parties are aware of how the law applies”
  19. Hands up....just looked at the FB post and clicked to the official FFC advert, where there was no mention of FFCTV.
  20. Here is one for you. I know a guy who shelled out for 3 season tickets last season for him and his kids which was nearly a grand, as a goodwill gesture to the club. All he got was a curtailed season on FFCTV ....which occasionally buffered and also didn’t work properly for the last match. So...he should just forget it and do the same? The club have offered him zilch, nothing, nada as an incentive to renew. There were so many things the club could have done to enhance our experience. They haven’t even thanked us for our support last season. Bitter? Me? ....you better believe it.
