  1. Think you have the Mandela Effect I think you have the Kelty Effect!!
  2. Are you sure that you're not a Kelty supporter??!! You're in their thread a hell of a lot!
  3. St. Mirren will start strong favourites tbh, all Kelty can do is to put in a shift as they always do, as that will at least give them a bit of a chance.
  4. He definitely did, the St. Johnstone defence found it difficult to handle him and he was unfortunate not to have scored. Just need to follow up Saturday's performance with a win at Elgin on Tuesday.
  5. It was never the intention for Kelty to "skoosh" any league, they joined the Senior ranks to climb the pyramid to the highest level that they could realistically reach, and that level is getting close imho. They have been fortunate to have been given the Lowland League title, but knowing Kelty they would have much rather preferred to have all the games played, but that wasn't possible.
  6. The big difference is that Kelty know in advance when the sponsor is pulling out. I would say that they would be able to survive at League 1 or 2 level on their own. Kelty have always been a club that have very active committees, so I don't anticipate there being a crash as per Gretna.
  7. It isn't fair to say that Kelty are another Gretna. The plan is for the backer to pull out in a couple of season's time, as it's expected that the club will be stable enough to exist in the SPFL under it's own steam.
  8. It's one of these games that will live long in the memory, as will that goal! Not fair perhaps to single anyone out but Forster and O'Ware were awesome in the centre of defence, and what a difference having Philp and Barjonas back in the midfield again. Should really mention the manager as he got the tactics spot on. An amazing day all round.
  9. I see, so apologies for my nippy response. There's no doubt that your team should have won, but I couldn't believe how poor the Saints were at times during the match and this allowed Kelty to have much more possession that they should have had. It's likely to be a different story against St. Mirren.
  10. That's because Kelty aren't Championship level! It's just as well as most Championship sides would also have beaten St. Johnstone yesterday.
  11. I agree that we could be better at full back on both sides. It definitely doesn't help that we haven't had a settled back four all season for a variety of reasons.
  12. Easton left for full time football as far as I know. He was very good for Kelty, but Joe Cardle has been much, much better.
  13. You can't go upwards. Surprisingly you've been top since week 1 League 1?
  14. Good to get a game in and get a convincing win too after the Annan defeat. Also good to have O'Ware and Reilly fit again. Onwards and upwards!
  15. My dog couldn't get one, is there an agenda against Labradors?!!!
  16. Gutted to hear that he's gone, he was outstanding at Kelty and he was a pleasure to watch. He'll be missed. I hope he goes on to do great things.
  17. Yeah, I see the bookies have got them 10,000-1 ON. I've put my mortgage on it.
  18. He definitely will, but we haven't really had a settled back four this season due to a variety of reasons, and that's why I think that it could be a defender, but I could be wrong of course.
  19. A defender? Looking forward to finding out tomorrow.
  20. The email I got was about season ticket holders who should decline if they're not going to the game to allow the maximum tickets for selling to non season ticket holders, and it said that these tickets were being sold on Tuesday the 29th, so it's a bit confusing.
