No Country For Old Men 14.Zodiac 15.Reservoir Dogs 16.Fightclub 17.Stand By Me 18.Walk The Line 19.LA Confidential 20.Bourne Ultimatum Comedy - 1.Monty Python and the holy grail 2.Happy Gilmore 3.Monty Python and the Life of Brian 4.Dodgeball 5.The Simpsons Movie i didn't include the likes of the Godfather , star wars , indiana jones , back to the future etc etc as i personally found they worked better as a triology rather than seperate films , so thats why i missed them out of my top 20
  2. There Will Be Blood - Daniel Day Lewis was superb adds so much depth to the character , brilliant film , i really can't choose between this and No Country for the Oscar Jim - i would disagree with you regarding the Dylan one i thought it was a little too arty farty , agree with you on Pans though , thought it was really good 9/10 so There Will be Blood 10/10 - no County 9.5/10 Cloverfield - a success for marketing , i think the idea of making a film of that style and including an actual monster sort of backfires , as the realism of the camera works and the unknown cast makes the sightings of the monster just feel a little OTT , thats the let down for me , thats where Blair Witch succeeded that Cloverfield didn't
  3. Yeah the Coen Brothers have released some fantastic films the Big Lebowski is really funny , Fargo was excellent as is Miller's Crossing and i have just finished watching their first film Blood Simple , its brilliant , i rate that and No Country For Old Men as their best 2 finally now getting the chance to sit down and see what the hype is about Cloverfield , this better not let me down , Blair Witch was original at the time , i think JJ Abrahams is too clever to try and copy that formula , i will be let down if its just a rip off from the blair witch does anyone watch the documentaries ? for example : In the hands of god , Sicko , shut up and sing , my kid could paint that etc etc etc , some of these are fantastic , documentaries almost film like , worht watching to see the state of society today
  4. no country for old men fantastic film , the best Coen Brother film since Blood Simple , since no film is perfect have to give it 9.5 out of 10 flood worst film i have seen in about 10 years , the acting was dreadful , special effects utter pish 1 out of 10 i am legend a poor man's 28 Days Later , once you have seen 28 days then you know the score with this , Will Smith is the only shining light in the film 5 out of 10 in the valley of elah toomy lee jones is excellent , very good film , about something topical in todays society 8 out of 10 inland empire and southland tales complete mind f-u-c-k-s , i have watched them both twice and still don't quite get it fully because it went over my head give it 6 out of 10 cloverfield in the process of downloading it , it better be worth the hype
