Montrose announcing Michael Gardyne on a 2 1/2 year deal… Would have been a good signing for us in a position we’re desperate for players

If goodie does leave this January the big question is who on earth do we bring in to replace his goals ? I personally don’t think there’s any striker in the championship or below that could fill the void left by him if he does go. And with the abysmal recruitment team I think it would be a horrendous second half of the season if we have to rely on Jones and Tade as our main strikers.

Superb win today. Disappointed we never scored in the first half and also to concede first. Tade off the bench was absolutely brilliant yet again but clear to see he’s knackered after 25mins. Hopefully this puts us on a wee run of wins with Clydebank, Peterhead and Alloa up next

Thinking for Saturday I’d like to see Danny revert back to his old 433 formation we used to play and actually be good at playing. With Love and Cunningham on the wings it lets goodie do what he does best in the middle. Gomis, Splaine and Nicoll/Kennedy in the midfield. With Cuddihy, Elsdon, Page and Livingston at the back. We know it works from previous seasons although with different players and we need to field our strongest XI on Saturday n personally I don’t think we can get any stronger than the team above. We’re a footballing team and not a long ball team, playing this formation gives us the best chance to play our football on the ground instead of hoofing it up to 6’6 Jones who can’t win a header.

Yet again yesterday we’re seeing Tade come off the bench to make an impact with the assist. When is DL gna realise he needs to drop Jones and start Tade from the start even if he does only last for 60/70mins. Disappointing we never got the 3 points yesterday as I felt we were the better team but we never used the conditions to our advantage and we paid for that. Lucky we got at point at the end. Desperately need a win or even a draw at Firhill next week before the crunch match. But we can’t afford to let Peterhead/Dumbarton/Falkirk get too far ahead on points so hopefully this point turns things around.

I want to see DL give Tade a chance from the start, he has more experience and looks 10x the player Jones is just from his few sub appearances. Would give goodie a bit of freedom up top with Tade bullying defenders n trying his heart out to get to every ball, unlike Jones who walks about with his two left feet. Dumbarton is a must win game on Saturday but truthfully I can’t see it happening.

Assuming with Love and Page back to full fitness DL will have a full squad to choose from for what I believe is the first time this season ? What r ppl thinking team selection wise now we have a full squad at disposal ?

Defence is fkn woeful, desperately need another centre half in. I know Peterhead is a tough place to go but I’m embarrassed by that result. Congrats to goodie on his 100th goal right enough

Surprised there’s been no news on bringing in a few loan signings. Would be nice to bring in a few defenders and a midfielder imo. Normally we hear DL saying he’s looking to bring in a few loans but not seen/heard anything like that this season.

Anyone know what injury Love has that’s keeping him out the team ? Tade as well, because I thought for him it was just fitness ?

I think it’s perfect timing, mitchell hasn’t been in the best of form and could do with maybe a few games brake. I know of a few Alloa fans who said he’s the best part time keeper available… However giving a 35 year old a 2 year contract is a bit weird

Alloa r a typical Ferguson team… 8 men behind the ball constantly n only thing they can do is a long ball. Some performance from Rumsby and Elsdon, kept that big bald b*****d at bay the whole game. Let’s hope this gives goodie some confidence to start firing again.
