It wasn't the right decision. 15 minutes after it was called off the snow stopped, granted it was raining but the pitch was fine. Liyhgy looked the better team but its bullshit, the amateurs played to a finish on the pitch next to ours. Obviously the officials have never played in the snow as bairns. I have seen games played in far worse conditions and they were bad at the time but they should have went to half time then made a decision. Pussies
Nobody is arguing about being ahead at the time,if the home strip was a problem for a linesman why didn't they change into the blue strip.. As I said, passes.
Surely he must have been able to see the black stripe wasn’t there but seems a poor reason to stop the game

For me there was no malice in the foul and most certainly didn't intend to put our player into the wall.
I understand why the ref gave a red though.
Surely the wall has no bearing if it’s a red card

Think you are wrong (if you are saying Linlithgow didn’t get beat 3-1 by Penicuik in the league). All early season matches were league games.
If you are not referring to the 3-1 match on 7 August; my apologies.
Definitely wrong it was a league match

Not sure I agree with your last point. Apart from the 1st 10 minutes of the 2nd half, I don’t think that Bonnyrigg were troubled that much by Dalbeattie.
Bonnyrigg top of the league, but on that performance you would wonder why. Was a dour win but Bonnyrigg deserved the points. Doesn’t seem to be that many new players sine I last saw Bonnyrigg play a competitive match a couple of seasons ago. Certainly got a lot of good players but it was a wee bit like going through the motions against Dalbeattie.
Don’t really think there is a need for a huge turnover of players when you are one of the top sides and they do drip feed players into the squad as you and I know Evans and Connolly from our teams

Aye 6 or 7 no easy is that at Blackburn too ?
does that include chair, vice chair, president, vice president ?
Difficult times.
Think it is a big problem with many clubs I also believe that most of these committees consist of the older generation which could lead to problems in the future if no young blood is recruited

Absolutely, we weren’t at the races, Gala thoroughly deserved it. Have to say that the referee was awful, although had no impact on the result.
Got to agree referee wanted it to be all about him but you are correct didn’t affect the result

I can see Dundonald taking a least a point off Penicuick tomorrow.
Hope I don't regret this post

I'm unclear on the actual relegation numbers. I'm sure someone has the answer for the following scenario; For arguments sake lets say PENICUIK win the EoS Premier. Vale of Leithen and Edinburgh Uni are the relegated clubs from the LL.
If Penicuik were to be unsuccessful in the round robin play off vs the Wosfl/Sosfl would that become the doomsday scenario whereby 6 clubs are then relegated from the EoS premier?
My understanding is that there will be only one club relegated from the Lowland League

No, it's highly visible from sidelines and in the video of highlights. Helluva slope , bumpy and grass too long . I used to play on worse pitches than Penicuicks ,but also many better.
After loosing their last pitch and being in abeyance for many years I’m sure they would play on the moon if need be. Not that I’m agreeing with your assessment of the pitch can I assume you are an expert in these maters

How did you come to that conclusion about the pitch were you playing ????

The player had it as feet when he was tripped we will leave it there as it doesn't matter but was a stone waller.
Ultimately you are correct as the referee gave a penalty but as you say we will leave it there

Don't know what's to be confused about he tackled tripped him and didn't win the ball.
Is that why the ball changed direction or did the forward just kick it out of play

Some strike for the equaliser. Winner was a soft one to concede from Camelon's perspective.
Not as soft as their penalty

Penicuik are hard working never give up and delivered when had to. We had 2 one on ones and we didn't take them.
Camelon keeper was excellent especially his early one peddling backwards tipping it away our lads were relentless second half while Camelon were always dangerous on the break and Bob had a couple of good saves

A real shame to see what was such a great club struggling. I think it is going to be an extremely long season ahead for the vale.
Them and a few others are out of their depth in the Lowland league and until they change the one relegation spot these results will continue making level 5 of Scottish football a laughing stock
