Did Kevin Nicol play for the Buffs yesterday? That two game ban from Clyde surely translates to the wosfl.

The West league should be setting the prices, not the clubs. But £9 to watch Lok or any Club at this level compared to £25 odds for championship clubs is a bargain.
We moved 4 players on from last seasons squad before Christmas and lost two to long term injuries. I see 4 or 5 leaving soon.
Lok don’t operate a season ticket model so it isn’t comparable. The real impact in the pricing is kids getting in free, which is good for me and any others with wee ones. I’ve gone from paying £16 to £9.

Three signed worryingly short for us. I’d expect at least four to come in!

And you lot went in the huff in turn shafting your own club out crazy good money that will only improve year on year and laughable thing is you got rightly what you deserved from the sjfa.
The committee got it spot on. The SJFA were attempting to make themselves relevant, the demise has begun. Looking forward to watching it as a senior club

So after all the begging, all the embarrassing touting of money and hilariously unprofessional and poorly grammatically written statements…
They are actually down in members?

That's what Option Z revolved around with Tayside falling under LL East. The EoS and LL were opposed, but all the other stakeholders apparently were on board including the SPFL.
Where it gets murky is that apparently the SFA were led to believe by the LL board that the LL would be OK with it but this subsequently turned out not to be the case when it went to the clubs at an LL general meeting.
Obviously the population north of Edinburgh is higher than north of Glasgow but the amount of Ayrshire clubs should balance that out.
For an organisation that has only existed for 10 or so years, and who’s member clubs are mostly the same age they certainly seem to be running the establishment.

Would an East/West split at tier 5 work, merge the lowland, west, east and south leagues and have two tier 5 leagues of 16 with the line being between Shotts and Fauldhouse?

It’s telling when they are embarrassingly touting how much money they have and how amazing they are and they are currently plus one club? Nobody from the East returning as far as I’ve seen?
Tick tock.

It’s an absolute shambles and no one seems to really know. Apparently it’s now with the SFA
I heard Cumbernauld released him before his contract ran out so Cumnock could snap him up… McGinty clearly knew we were interested.
Boy wants to play for us but signed for Cumnock first so sounds like he’s stuck there. The whole situation is crazy. I don’t get why he’s signing with Irvine Meadow if he’s already put pen to paper for Cumnock?

Bizarre decision classic case of a childish committee cutting nose off to spite its face. Well and truly in the huff and missing out in all the benefits two of the other top three clubs in the west are benefiting from.
I’d look at it the other way. A chance to move on from an archaic organisation who withheld funds from Pollok and other teams over the pandemic. The top two might be in it, Talbot were never going to leave, but Pollok, Clydebank and Kilwinning are out now. I reckon we’ll see St Cadocs and Drumchapel near the top of tier 6 soon as well. If one of Darvel or Talbot goes up then the situation atop tier 6 changes dramatically.

What was ur record in Ayrshire this season ? I know u never won many but how many did u win out of games played ?
Off the top of my head not the best. But both games against Darvel last season we were the better team. No doubt you were deserved champions over the season however.
EDIT - 5 wins and a draw in 12. Pretty abysmal to be fair. New season incoming.

You lot just scrap with Talbot for the wee trophy. We can try and usurp you as champions. A big big ask against four quality sides but not being in the diddy cup gives us the best chance.

Pollok are out thankfully our committee voted the right way!

In a, hopefully, non reduced, covid free, season there will be normal relegation of one club to Tier 6 and a promotion from Tier 6 in return. Maybe, also, a LL club will win promotion to the SPFL2 with a club from there coming down to the LL.
There must be a good chance that the bottleneck will be gone anyway in twelve months time. It only takes one or two clubs to change leagues and the balance of power is changed.
With Tranent and Cowdenbeath now there I think the vote was 8v8 on the Colts issue, so one more Tier 6 or SPFL club in exchange for one of the fake clubs should solve the issue.

The bottle neck with the Lowland League has to go. But no solution to that involves the SJFA. The whole pyramid needs reformed to be fair, but resistance from the Old Firm over a 16 team league would stop it at the top and Lowland League’s superiority complex stops it in the middle.
For the SJFA, surely overtime and once the current tier 6 west league is diluted from ex junior clubs with Drumchapel and St Caodcs coming up and Lowland League clubs coming down then the time for Saturday’s to be put aside for the SJFA has to end?

All ties between tier 6 and the juniors must be cut. Its 1 or the other and if ur club wants 2 be in the juniors thats fine but let the ambitions clubs get on worh it.
Mon the papersI’m getting worried how often I’m agreeing with Clydebank fans these days

The lunatics are running the asylum. The SFA, WOSFL and regional equivalents need to stamp down on this mob.
The Lowland League needs reforming, big time, but none of that reform involves the SJFA.3 -
The only way to get a proper Tier 5 and below national cup is for the SFA to run it. The East clubs see the SJFA as a very West oriented organisation. It’s time to lay the junior cup to rest, let it be a historical icon, not a competition that loses value every season it is played.

Hepburn is a great player on his day. Don’t know much about the boy but hasn’t achieved like I expected.
On his day he’s one of the best on the league. Certainly guarantees entertainment.

With You Tube BSC Open Goal FC, a rejuvenated East Kilbride, Tranent looking good and the ex senior teams finally looking solid I reckon it’ll be much harder in general for the Tier 6 winners to go straight through. They’ll absolutely challenge but the process will slow.

Maybe suits use but use really shouldnt be allowed 2 play in it as we all left the juniors behind but the shambles that is wosl committee is letting teams play in it and giving it preference 2 other games when it should never be happening.
Mon the papersAs much as I want rid of it from my own team playing in it if teams want to do it then that’s up to them. As long as it doesn’t get priority over the bigger competitions that’s fine.

Genuine question for any Talbot fans. The tournaments, by far, most successful club. Do you class the 2022 win as the same achievement as say 1986, 2013 or even 2018?

Complete Wosfl fixture list for the season
in West of Scotland Football League

Pollok v Clydebank was in for 15/10/22 but that will now be off as one of us will put the other out of the Challenge cup.
With both teams idle on 24/09/22 would this be a good one for the fixture or does it have to be played down the line?
