  1. Loved that tonight KM7 stand was rocking where I was sat and hats off to the organisers of the display We looked comfortable, I thought, early on and could've gone in front. Ayr probably peaked too early and we looked spooked after the goal but settled into the game. Penalties like buses as well! Fair play to Nizzy and Kennedy for attempting to shoot from distance. At the end you could see how far we as a support and this team have come together. Lets give them everything from now until the end
  2. That's harsh. There's a still image where both ourselves and Ayr are tacked on in the final seconds! I actually thought it was their highlights package. However, it's par for the course - the BBC Football Scotland lead story is about a player who's been 2nd fiddle for 18 - 24 months at his club and whether he'll get a new deal
  3. From what I've seen online, there are flags beside each seat. Hold one up. There is also a banner which will be displayed. If you're in a row where the banner is please hold it as high as you can.
  4. Sounds like we need to unofficially designate that area near the end of the KM7 as the section you want to be in if you want to get involved and let it organically grow. Anyone not wishing to sing/chant as much who'd normally sit there can budge up Good on you and others who've organised this and hope it goes as well as planned I and my usual attendees will be along earlier than usual to participate in the display.
  5. Perfectly do-able while we're below the Prem. Only thing I'd borrow from baseball would be this idea. Buy your Bovril etc and stand and watch the match. The East stand area would be ideal.
  6. I disagree. The families grow and the kids pick up the songs (for good or bad!) and its passed from generation to generation. That we don't sing is for me, due to a rather threadbare songbook which has consisted of WBWW, "Down in the town" and "You are my Sunshine" for the majority of my time watching. The others are fairly anachronistic such as Stainrod, Scobbies and McHughs in recent memory so don't tend to get an airing much. Not heard the latest ones particularly clearly for McGlynn and Rowe but from what I understand they fall into that category. Love it or hate it, Amarillo is still a belter but it's not one we tend to start on our own. Maybe we're not very musical
  7. £4 in the North Stand car park. It's reasonable and never sold out. Only issue is exiting. If you've ever played Mario Kart your sorted...
  8. Aye seemingly noted in his report but did f**k all to rectify on the night
  9. Lot's of if's but IF we did build it and even IF the Scottish government ban alcohol adverts we could sell it as prime location for, say, a new local tourist attraction IF the distillers wanted to advertise with us
  10. Plenty of room down in that corner and there's two exits just now. IF a structure was erected you'd likely be able to still use the exit behind it. I'll amend my idea and make it double sided and have a massive, Insta-grammable Falkirk Highlander on the back
  11. Only issue with that is we become known as the club who has painted extra fans! We'd lose any crowd w*nk argument from then on and we can't stand for that!
  12. Agree but selling more advertising is where it might come unstuck. Alternatively build it and use it for permanent flags or slogans. Even a contemporary mural/artwork to block off some of the corner space perhaps.
  13. That's standard in any modern stadium and that thinking's not changed since the early noughties. You'll never get stadia like Brockville was with all the safety and rules in place nowadays.
  14. We've an overly ambitious main stand perhaps but wouldn't class any of them as "badly" designed. There is no where in the TFS which has a bad view IMO.
  15. Aye. Yesterday was sare but wee bit more perspective today we still have much to play for.
  16. Thanks for the correction. 2 in roughly 150 games - 3 years apart - does seem low but then we have just gone over a calendar year before our recent award ... at any end, home or away!
  17. Answering my own question and by no means exhaustive - feel free to correct - but I reckon we last had a penalty awarded at the North Stand end in March 2018 v Greenock Morton. Incidentally, it should also be noted that the ref made the award immediately whilst the linesman failed to flag what appears to be an obvious foul.
  18. Moaning about the refs in the aftermath of a defeat just looks like sour grapes but can you blame us when they've been so woeful. Additionally, as much as I despise the NW mob there can be no argument that their numbers and hostility has an effect on the linesman. Sadly due to the layout of TFS we just don't have that ability to, ahem, influence the officials to a similar degree . Any statto's able to pull together penalties awarded to us shooting into the North Stand as opposed to the KM (when temp seating hasn't been used)?
  19. Someone needs to read the rules. Last time I checked it was still the whole ball that had to cross the line. Having seen the actual footage and not the still it's bang on the line so no goal. I thought the ref had a decent game bar stopping play to clear the projectiles thrown on but should've known one of the other officials would have a 'mare
  20. As a Falkirk fan then that would be lovely . However, it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. Presented with all the facts and what we witnessed last night that's what I'd call it but we've all got to cling to something.
  21. I'd have had him on earlier for Kennedy. Was obvious by then that Kennedy had ran out of ideas and hitting the byline was playing into your hands.
