McCall’s interview. Wow. Give him whatever he wants.

I think he’s very clear about how he wants things to be. Clearly even he can see that there are improvements to be made all over the place and with Maitland, you couldn’t ask for a better duo. However, if it can’t quite fit for him and the financial input required then fair play. He’s left a massive legacy and it’ll never be forgotten. Good to see him smile too. He knows what it’s all about.

Should've been more than just the one, but we did what we had to and it's in our hands on the last day. If you said to me after our defeat down at Stair Park that that would be the case, I'd have called you absolutely insane. No idea how Lee Hamilton lasted the ninety minutes but he did and showed yet another reason why he's the worthy POTY. Praying he's fit for another massive one up at Elgin.

It's an ideal opportunity next week for the club to lay on some buses from Glasgow and I hope they do so, as I think plenty will go up there.

Or try and put the match on via the stream in a function suite somewhere ???

  3. The most annoying thing as you say ScottR96 is that neither Clyde or Dumbarton defences were willing to take the ball on the floor…because if they had lost it, then a thundering wind assisted shot would have been coming right back..pitch was playable but how these teams played was shocking. Referee probably thought that if that’s how the are playing to the conditions then it’s their choice. Fuckin woefull stuff yesterday even for neutrals…

Agreed, however Sula came on last night and was even worse!

    Sad state of affairs indeed.

We had zero pressure up front last night. Young did absolutely nothing when he was on and Rennie was just Rennie one average performance in 10. The result was that the midfield (which was also poor) had nothing to hit and if they did hit one of the “forwards” the ball came straight back and Forfar player was on them in a flash. I think a lot of the issues last night came from not have a single presence up front as a result the game just kept coming back on top of us in the middle of the park and we are just not good enough do do anything with the ball.
Ray Grant  was awful last night although not the worst. Thank God we have Hamilton or it would have been even more embarrassing than it turned.

Has to be said McCall till now has just not worked, well bankrolled personally and supported off the park which is even more worrying!

However, he sounds just as perplexed as the lack of desire. There are  loanees there really don’t care unfortunately . It’s the apathy which McCall is fighting against too.

  5. First game I went along to for about 18 months after the Hope from Saturday . f**k me.Absolutely lifeless. Forfar managed the game very well as it went on. Would Allan have made a difference? God knows but Rennie was as poor as the last time I saw him . So lightweight and carries himself like a jumper on a windy clothesline. The table doesn’t lie as it is said, but I still think McCall was the absolutely best option presented to us at the time..but six months too late. The board definitely have to take the blame by offering Duffy and an inexperienced manager the roles they gave them for such an important season. Too little too late.

I can't express the anger I have toward this board. Looking at this list of what I can think and I bet there is more are awful 1 by 1 never mind all of them together.

Chased Norrie Innes out the club

Fucked up and ended up owing money for the aria lounge.

4 points deducted for admin error

The whole Graham Diamond and PJ Corr saga

Kept Danny Lennon on about a year longer than he should have been, on a contract we couldn't properly afford.

The Goodwillie Saga that ended up with us being kicked out of Broadwood.

Hearadling it as a success and a big GIUY to NL when it just wasn't.

Taking us back 30 years to Hamilton as Nomads lying about the wonderfully Low rent (same as Broadwood) and commercial opportunities.

Compiling and over seeing the worst Clyde team I've seen under Duffy

Promoting Duffy to DOF after failing to keep us up and having a raffle in the changing room for who wants to me manager.

    McClean and Duffy...enough said

Following up the worst Clyde team I've seen with an even worse team this year.

Allowing that fat Oaf Ebbo to be around the club and chase young Lewis out the club.

Staring into a league of B teams, B team shagging Clubs and Uni's.

Back to back relegations out the SPFL is beyond a joke but the manner is enough to make and rational person snap and want the boards Head on a stake. A complete basket case and embarrassment of a club.

I fucking hate my own club now, from League 1 to Non League in 2 years.

It’s being humiliated all over Twitter with that second goal yesterday too. And totally 100% correct with the rest of your points.

  7. I take my hat off to anyone still going along. I packed it in about 2 yrs ago because of how much it was pissing me off but have been to a couple of games but not like before. I still look in on this and Twitter obviously. Heartbreaking stuff. Not one of those players will be too bothered apart from getting a gig next season somewhere else. Will this mob actually be up for a fight. I don’t think so .

Seen a few saying he's done a job but for me he is very lazy. Only trained once since he joined as well I believe. Excuse after excuse to not attend.

I can’t believe he’s got another club. He’s like a giraffe on ice..he can’t read a game and as you say, unbelievably lazy. Danny Lennon used to get right into him sometimes but still brought him on as sub sometimes..abysmal

To be fair, apart from @Highlandmagar (who would’ve continued criticising McCall if he’d won us the Champions League) I think most Thistle fans acknowledge that he did good work, but ultimately it was time for him to go. Upper championship is his ceiling, but obviously that’s several levels above where Clyde are, or have been for a long time.

If he had not lost those 5 games in a row,(correct me if I’m wrong) but Thistle wold be in the SPL. The rumour I heard from a Jags fan was he was sacked for substituting Brian Graham off at the Rangers cup tie so he could go and help with the women’s team that night ? Or is that just pish? Lol..

The "where's the money man" point is moot considering the transfer window is closed.

Not moot at all…..currently there is absolutely no plan B…it’s a disaster. Simple as that. The club will be relegated before the “panic button” gets pressed.

  11. Duffy floating round doing his media stuff and not giving a feck. Thompson has to let him McLean go and admit it’s not worked then feck off himself at the end of the season.Let McLean cut his teeth at a lower level then build himself up that way. Clyde cannot keep this going.
