Great turned into a FM forum
Wasn’t going to add anything but since it’s annoyed you.
Think it was FM 22 I just took the piss with it and kept giving us small cash injections whenever we went in debt. Won the UCL eventually and I still regularly keep an eye on the players that got me there.

That’s us sniffing about Harbaugh as well now. Can’t see them not taking Belichick though.

Are we a professional football team or an after school club?
That’s what I’m thinking. Of course the club has a duty to the community and they do plenty of outstanding work but that should never be more than a side project.
They are a for-profit business whose main source of profit is winning football games. If the manager can’t win football games then it doesn’t matter if they’re fucking Gandhi, they’re not doing their job. By all means praise his work behind the scenes but don’t conflate that with him being successful at his job. He can be good at one and not the other.

George Pickens is such an easily hateable character. Ever since that photo of him in his house at the draft, which should’ve had him in a psych ward, I’ve had something against him.

Would’ve respected that statement this morning a lot more if Smith had just came out and addressed the patter on Pie and Bovril as being shite.

What have they actually seen there. I’m assuming the replay iPad was frozen over.

Go barely positive. Emptied out the playoffs at the first hurdle. The Tomlin way.

Stop it you! I'm still in stitches from your last effort.
Just in a good mood for some strange reason today. Can’t put my finger on why.

Probably by lowering his standards to where they belong, which is the bottom two tiers.
We’ll take him permanent in the summer then.

The headline on the sun website is around someone at a club being bullied rather than someone making an arse of it and getting grief
Thought that was just that rag doing its best to blow the statement out of proportion. Doubt there’s anyone at The S*n with any inside knowledge.

The mention of abuse is corporate spin designed to deflect some of the attention away from the recent managerial record.
As much as they are right and I agree with the point, it’s clearly been inserted at the end to garner some sort of sympathy and to discourage any future negative comments towards the regime.
It’s not some anonymous source that’s been sending bullets through the letterbox. At its worst, it’s folk on social media, with names and pictures on show, who they could quite easily dish out a ban to if it went too far.

No mention of who’s taking it interim.
Could mean the next manager is imminent. Or it could just be the usual telling us nothing.
Buying my ticket for Kelty just to witness this on Saturday.

That’s got to be the funniest one yet. Closest Cowboys player to Musgrave was a guy on IR sitting in a box in the 3rd tier.

Would like to know when it’s our turn to embarrass Dallas in the playoffs since everyone else in the NFC seems to get to do it.

It's fine for you to feel bad for him, I don't. I thought the guy was an a weapon with bizarrely misplaced arrogance*.
The football was almost exclusively awful as well.
*Mind it was only a few months ago Callum tried out asking him tough questions and he was throwing hissy fits so they had to stop.
This.
Have heard he was a fanny, came across as a fanny. Bye bye Lee.
And I’m usually always sympathetic towards managers.

Every time I've watched the Cowboys this year Daron Bland has been picked on constantly and looked like complete garbage. I've always said INT numbers are absolutely no way to grade a CB.
Similar to Diggs in 2021. Stats aren’t good for grading DBs most of the time in my opinion because it’s not up to them if they’re targeted. If a QB avoids a good corner all game, it looks like he’s had a bad game when he’s actually made a huge impact.

Now comes my favourite part.
The bookies odds.

Arses clenching in the stands and collapsing on the field.

A team actually appointing Hughes would ruin every Next Manager thread on here.

It's not unheard of but it is rare.
Seems more the type of thing a foreign absent billionaire owner would do rather than with the brotherly relationship Bullen seems to have.
