we were excellent yesterday. Controlled from the first minute and the captain back was a big boost. I have only seen a couple of posts but anyone saying young Declan in the middle was poor yesterday clearly watched a different game than me!! I thought he was excellent. Final ball could have been better at times but that will come with game time! First league start since Hibs away if I’m correct? Also can take a corner without hitting the first man. Great overall performance as a team.

I still expect him to leave, Goodwin stuff in the paper is definitely not true and he certainly doesn’t rate him. Heard maybe Exeter or Abroad but think we are looking for someone to buy him Chalmers maybe next out the door… Moult rested.

Goodwin is on record saying one part he wanted to address in this window was the lack of pace in the squad. If we are to bring in a CB and no one else we certainly haven’t addressed the lack of pace ….

Need to be seeing more from Middleton and would like to see watt scoring more. Thought some of the younger guys were good today mainly Glass in that 2nd half. Probably should have scored but takes up great positions.

I’ve slept on it after returning from the game and I’m not one to write players off after one game but that new CB has me worried….purely for the fact the championship will be a physical battle. Maybe being harsh.
