Commiserations to Airdrie, they were outstanding this season and very unfortunate that Cove were so resillient over the course of the campaign. And congratulations to Queens Park - I think they were the better team over the 2 games. QP were pretty lucky to be in a playoff position IMO, thanks to the rest of the league (ourselves included) being shite for the majority of the season.

There might be punters abroad who can't get BBC Scotland , so PTFC could be catering for themIs iPlayer not available abroad (genuine question)?
No, used to be able to get it with a decent VPN but about a year and a half ago it started detecting it.

Mark McGhee is going on a diet and keeping his heating off because, erm, we have a game on Saturday.
This might be the worst thing I've ever read.
No wonder Charlie Adam is taking the piss! Or is McGhee? Either way, it's a cracker!

I hope Brian Rice stays on, he appears to be a very positive manager and has certainly got a lot more out of the team than his predecessor.
I think we will need to look at bringing in players who could replace the club's current stalwarts when father time finally catches up with them. This will be no easy feat. Taggart, Graham, Cawley, Robertson, Trouten and Sammon are all in their early to mid 30's, it wouldn't surprise me if a few of them leave the club over the summer. I feel next season will be very challenging. As long as the players give a good, solid account of themselves, i guess it is all that we can ask. Looking at the potential strength of next year's league, i think finishing 4th would realistically be seen as a success.

Looking forward to this game. Thought we were unlucky in our last meeting with Cove and the first half in that game was probably the best we have played all season. Cove have been grinding out results in past weeks, however I think when you are eventually crowned champions, it will be well deserved. I guess our aim now is to finish in the lofty heights of 5th, which certainly seemed unobtainable a couple of months back. Hopefully MacIver starts.

Cove next week?
Keep it for Falkirk for the comedy value

It's very hard to predict anything results-wise at the moment. If we play to our abilities, and improve on our finishing from last week, then I would hope we can come away with 3 points before what looks like, on paper, a relatively challeging run in.

I would genuinely expect to win a group with Qatar, USA and Tunisia. We would of course be favourites to be eliminated with most draws there and there are some potentially horrendous groups, but even if we get a tough first seed we might still find a kind draw.
I watched Mexico v USA last week in qualifying and both teams were completely honking.0 -
A must win for both teams. If results go our way we can leapfrog Clyde into 6th, if they go the other way we may find ourselves right back in the mix at the bottom. Hopefully see Cawley and Scougall come back in. A repeat performance of the Cove first half please.
