Aye, wasn't having a go - was more that Bradley was already a known quantity but maybe not quite ready to play for Liverpool, then one successful loan spell later he's already seen in some quarters as a ready made replacement for Alexander-Arnold.
We had a few promising right backs coming through two years ago, and at this point you'd say only hickey and possibly Johnson at sturm graz have kicked on. Is there any other right backs floating about worth a call up? Excluding O'Donnell obviously

My middle child has been offered and accepted on to a primary school 8 week footie course. The first 4 weeks is classroom based. Teaching him about sectarianism. The last 4 weeks they get to play football. f**k you rangers and Celtic. Every single old firm fan is, at best, a bigot apologist and at worst a bigot. The old firm are an absolute embarrassment and are holding modern day society back. 2024 ffs. Twenty twenty four.
Aye but what school eh? Ect ect

Absolutely disgraceful what Iran's done to Israel. I only get my news from Britain so I have absolutely no idea why Iran attacked Israel. I am certain though that it was entirely unprovoked., out of the blue and undeserved.
Awaiting the totally unexpected and thoroughly deserved isreali style overreaction they are synonymous for.

Andy Halliday on SSB referring to Blair Spittal as future Hearts player. We all knew it but guess that’s it confirmed.
Has it not been confirmed for ages?

Shame Tina Turner didn't sing a song titled "simply second best".
Would be much more accurate these days.

Probably not, though I don't see the relevance of your point?
You cited les being from the area. I think where you're from doesn't have a massive bearing on whether you'll be positive or negative for a club.

He was literally born a few* miles from the stadium!
*Taking a liberty with few here but Lanarkshire's not that big.
And wasn't Craig whyte born in Motherwell? Would his proximity to the club mean he wouldve been any better for motherwell than he was for Rangers?

I can deny that was decent.
He however did what he said he would and helped the club transition to fan owned. Different scenario but I agree you got me.Not trying to "get you" in fairness, I'm equally skeptical. But it's a case of wait and see for me. There's the potential for this to be positive for the club and perhaps the community, and that shouldn't be dismissed by the fanbase before the details are made available.

Can anyone give me a positive long term outcome with regards to some out of nowhere foreign investor taking the reigns at a club in Scotland where there is almost no money to be made?
Not when the bold les came in no?

Even if you're eventually in the position of authority you're concerned about, there are others around you with infinity more experience, and I've found people love to feel helpful. Make good connections at placement and they'll never stop helping you.
But imposter syndrome is a good thing as has been said above, 5 years since I started in my job and I do wonder at points how I ended up this far best of luck with placement

But docherty was "assured" it would go ahead?
Surely binding?

Reading this thread is infinitely more entertaining than actually listening to Sportsound.
Make P&B sportsound happen.
To be commenting on a game you must have been entered into the 'Heads gone' thread

Michael Stewart needs put in a dark room with a brown paper bag.
He's being called out on nonsense he spouted a few weeks ago and can't handle it.

Some overreactions on here, how often do you see substitutions disrupting the game plan or tactics in friendlies?
Shankland seemed to help bring out the best in the midfield going forward and we were right in there until the last 15.
Only concerns should be right back and other options up front.

Has this become the sportsound thread?

Becoming a real frustration with all the talented youngsters at various clubs in scotland heading south at the first opportunity rather than staying short term, becoming mainstays in their respective teams then going as far more rounded players. Doesn't seem to work out for 90% of them.

Shows they care more about Sky than the fans attending the game. Not that I care much for Rangers fans but what are they expected to do travelling from Glasgow? All 5 of them.
Harsh IMO, most of the Belfast flights probably land in Glasgow.

Could we not just ask any of the coaches at NZs super rugby sides
Would rather get them in for youth development at the moment. That has to be the biggest concern.
