  1. Nothin on Leishman, G Wilson, Healy, McPherson, Stafford, Boylan, Shanklan Taylor etc. That is a number of players who play regularly
  2. Anything in re-signings? some big players not yet put pen to paper, couple away?
  3. Good result last night at what must be one of the harder places in the league to go with the results they have had at home, also good to see players comin back from injury on the bench like McCracken and Shankland. Fingers crossed everyone stays fit and ready for next friday.
  4. That was very much needed tonight, thought everyone was at it after a nervy first ten minutes. Ross Smith wow what a player he is turning out to be another gem tucker seems to have sourced and managed into a top player. Was delighted to see Samson score he has needed it. Stafford and McPherson were dominant dealt with everything thrown at them albeit not much. Lewis Crawford is doing well just now at RB. Cant imagine how good beating your biggest rivals at home infront of a good crowd, scoring 4 and a clean sheet must be for that changing room tonight after the last three four weeks. Thank you talbot.
  5. You cannot say McPherson and not McCracken. they are the best pairing and could probably say not the same player without each other. G Wilson aswell. He might not be at his best this season but I would much rather he was with us than against us .
  6. In todays starting team do you mean or the squad?
  7. I thought the boy Rough was good but lost a lot of headers. I thought the other centre half was the better of the two.
  8. Monk was good tonight if that was the boy who played against Taylor all night.
  9. I’m unsure what Neily didnt do tonight that they did? He couldn’t of done anything for either goals and him n Stafford gave the league’s highest scorer to nothing. Talbot need changes but they still have the two best centre halfs in the league.
  10. The goals are absolutely criminal - one absolutely bizarre decision and a centre half/goalkeeper in no mans land. Other than that, I think we played some decent stuff especially in the second half but wasn’t to be. Some have to go after this season and we need some in. Who would Talbot fans keep and who would they move on?
  11. Why? Anyone with a defensive awareness could play, can play CB. We certainly have a couple that can. Money be better spent elsewhere.
  12. You do realise how appeal processes at this level work? They are dealt with independent panels of high end persons in their area of work who, I’m sure, would much rather keep their reputation than be ‘corrupt’ to non league Scottish football. Tit.
  13. Have to agree with ye here, we have a handful of really stand out players with too many not so good players. Won’t comment on what could happen this season but hoping for a couple of decent summer recruitments.
  14. Good result last night. 3 goals (could of been more) and a clean sheet. Up to fourth with games in hand. Another good chance on Saturday to get another 3. There disallowed goal was bizarre, does anyone know why it was disallowed? McPherson done well to stop two Largs breaks, Stafford a completely different player this year, Graham Wilson back up top where he should be and a strong bench ready to come on.
  15. Not much can be done when the whistle is being blown every 1 minute. And you could tell it was like a cup final for Johnstone Burgh. In the hat.
  16. I can’t find anyone at blame here except from the local referee who inspected the pitch at 3pm, did he not take into account the declining temperature and it was never going to get worse? I wouldn’t knock any club who thought best to get a professional, neutral referee to come and inspect the park and take whatever decision they get there rather than calling it off then. I’m sure clubs can leave themselves open to fines for doing so off their own back can they not? Talbot wanted the game on, tried to but fell at the last hurdle. The right decision was made in the end under the worst circumstances.
  17. One rough start to a season and we, as a fan base, are in meltdown. It’ll come, the next 3 weeks gives management and players no better chance to get things going now. Has there been any good performers this season? Seems to be a case of everyone is shite with what has been posted.
  18. Clinical performance on Saturday which is always a confidence boost at the right time. Hopefully it carries on from here. A new look back four also. Be interesting to see if it stays that way this weekend. 3 points required before cup games the following weekends.
  19. Genuinely curious and honest question. Talbot’s starting 11 today vs Darvel’s starting 11 - who would you have? A strong comment what you have made there.
  20. Danny MacKenzie and Darren Christie have signed with Auchinleck.
  21. This is when I can’t take you serious. Wardrobe was on the ball tonight more than anyone tonight and done nothing but went sidewards or slow it down.
  22. The worrying thing for me is, I thought that was the least we shelled it up top in a while however our final ball is dire. We can’t hold the ball up. We rarely beat the first man with crosses. The firepower we have and how lost we look trying to create goals some games is just bewildering.
  23. Your a grown fella mate, stop labelling what is said on this against you as abuse. The world is a lot harsher for that to be labelled as abuse or you have lived a very sheltered life. Like it or not, your viewed as a representative of the club. Your in about the committee, the management and the players whether that be for filming or just in and around the team on matchdays. Your a representative of the club, act like one.
  24. I honestly think you don’t know the definition of ‘abuse’. Disagreeing with you or having a go about players they pay their money to watch is their right, it’s free speech. The change of your name to ‘Comicalpiyo’ also isn’t abuse. Your a representative of the club, maybe you shouldn’t be on this posting every night like Geordie, Alec, Henry, Morton etc don’t do. Also, are Shankland and McPherson not tied up yet? Weird giving them opportunities to talk to teams elsewhere given how pivotal they are to the squad.
