If he was being punted, I think an announcement would have been made by now unless the board are still considering it.
Agreed, he's either got til the end of the season or he's staying.

I’d like to see us make massive changes to the playing squad on the summer but I think we’ll still have half of this squad next season.
No Monty announcement yet.
Do you reckon we're keeping him?

Boyle would stil be a decent player to have and is good back-up.
Fair enough. I think his legs are completely gone and defenders have no problem catching him any more. For a guy who based his entire game on speed, that's an issue and as our highest paid player, he needs to go.

Maolida, Marcondes, Welsh, Obita, Boyle and ALF as back-up.
Boyle? That's interesting. I'd argue that he's finished. I understand all the others.

I don't agree. Man bun hasn't played the best part of two years through injury but has quality and if (and a big if) we could keep fit and play consistently in a good team with a better manager he would be a top three level player in this league. He would get a game for Hearts. Youan would also too, in the correct team with a better manager and players around him.
Manbun can't run and Youan can't pass six yards, look up, track back, run for a ball that's 2 yards ahead of him. Not sure how any manager is going to fix those two. They're showponies. Manbun should play in France and Youan should play down the links.

Anyone that says Joe Newell should be banned off this Fred.
The answer is imo Obita, Youan maybe with a capable manager, man bun with better players around him, the rest are jobber guffys.
Newell is everything that's wrong with the squad. Obita if you move him to CH and get an LB with pace perhaps. Man bun is a show pony with no pace. No use to us up here. Youan is a 5-a-side player.

Either never fit or never played when fit.

Out of interest, given that Foley wants us to become the indisputable third force in Scottish football, who in our current squad do you reckon could get us there?
I'll go first:
1. Maolida
That's it.
Any others?

Commercial growth, overall massive losses.
Absolutely right, due to 'sporting failure' (see: McDermott, Monty, Johnson, Squad etc)

Monty GTF? I'm on board
Whole Squad, every single one of them GTF? I'm on board
Kensell GTF? I'm mystified.
CEO's job = carry out instructions of board, negotiate contracts, build commercial performance, build infrastructure
Kensell is the ONLY Hibs CEO to make the progress he has. Here are some more popular failures:
Petrie, Lindsay, Dempster, Hyland. None of which has delivered commercial growth that Kensell has.
I know he's got a tan and is English but he can actually do his job.
McDermott GTF? Possibly.
Ian Gordon GTF? Probably but very unlikely
Why Kensell? Are folk thinking he appointed Johnson/Maloney/Montgomery? If so, he didn't. He was involved but he didn't appoint any of them by himself.2 -
Can we still get relegated or can we not win that race either?

Oli Shaw - One of the best young strikers in Europe - Dempster.
We like a laugh a Hibs.
PS - We don't get enough credit for how bad we are.

45 mins of Puntfest served up.
Marcondes is absolute Jimmy White btw.

The Mothers are stone cold favourites for this one.
We'll be out thought and out fought throughout the game, play walking football for the first 75, gain some urgency in the last 15, pepper the Mother's goal and fail to take any of the chances we create.

Wigan can f**k off.

Thing is, that much was obvious pre Jan window - yes we signed a couple of decent players on loan and also one or two really promising ones perm - but none of them were in the CH position (apart from Triantis, who is shite).
Baffling, really.
You are the stats guy, but outside of our awful goals against record this season, many of the goals emerged like Saturday, barely any real danger, but as soon as an opposition player breaks through or takes a shot we lose a goal !
I would say its Sunday League defending, but its closer to playground stuff, jumpers for goalposts etc.
We signed two CHs in January - Triantis and Bevan.
One was a nightmare so we shoved him into midfield and the other got sent back because he was crocked.
So we defo tried to sign CHs, we just made poor choices (again)1 -

Thank f**k Boyles legs are gone.
This is something we're not talking about much at Hibs but has been clear as day since he returned from injury.

Speaking of .net, someone on there claiming that due to family not settling, NM is off at the end of the season.
We can but hope.It would appear that there is something in this.

From our Chairman re: NM:
"He will be successful and take us on. His first pick of players came in January and they have made a big difference. He has been unlucky with injuries and lost some games due to bizarre VAR decisions. All these things happen in football but with a modicum of good luck - which he has not had up until now - he will be a very successful manager."
I'll have what he's having.1 -

Three likely scenarios for this one:
1. Narrow Hibs win
2. Narrow Livi win
3. Another Desmond
One unlikely scenario for this one:
1. Commanding Hibs performance and comfortable win.2 -

If you think a moan about a refereeing decision and a complaint about a shite defender costing us a goal is an attempt at “analysis” then you take life way to seriously.
If it’s all Hibs supporters fault for everything bad that happens like you suggest maybe you should simply stop being one of them.
You first.

What is your point caller?
I have slated Will Fish and his piss poor defending.
Do you just exist on this forum to be a condescending w**k or do you just come on here to avoid arguing with your reflection?
No I come on here, get abuse from tin foil twats like you and respond by cordially inviting you to fully get to **** and give us all peace from your relentless 'refs have it in for us' conspiracy shite. No wonder you think I'm condescending, look at what ****ing passes for analysis from you FFS!!

Happy with this given Hibs have pretty much a gimme this Saturday, was fully expecting to be fending them off come the point of the split so that is a very welcome and unexpected goal. For the first time since probably matchday 8, we now have a clear picture of the table without the games in hand.
There's no such thing as a gimme for Hibs.
10 minutes ago, Les Cabbage said:Assuming you just ignored my point about the footballing disaster that is Will Fish and him being allover the place for yet another goal then?
Officials can't score goals. We defend that properly or even demonstrate a semblance of game management and we don't have that problem. Absolute bottle jobs - Expert+ Level.
