I think The portuguese polis should be laid off a bit, some people are making it sound like the good old blighty polis have never gotten anything wrong or accused the wrong person. We havent seen the evidence they have and there are 10 boxes of the stuff, maybe there is some really incriminating stuff in there, maybe one of the 7 friends cracked in questioning.

Having read the sun this morning they seem to have changed the tone in which they have been reporting the case, it no longer reads as if they are all sweetness and light and its the stupid bumbling Portuguese police who are wrong. Maybe there is some really damming evidence.

From working with the Students Loans company I can tell you that tuition fees are not paid to the universities until a bulk transaction in Febuary. They done really have the right to ask for them any earlier. I quick word with the finance dept of the uni will see you get an extension no bother. Also you can get funding for four years worth of tuition fees. Or that was the case this time last year.

Agreed. There also seems to be this notion of the Portugese police being incapable of running this investigation, they will be well used to investigating these types of crimes and will hopefully apprehend the people responsible. Be that whoever.
