Game aside the way the paying public were treated tonight was a disgrace . Why was the stand behind the goal not available for all the people crammed in at the side of the pie hut with no view of the game . Very poor and the staff on duty made it worse with their attitude.

Decent start to pre season . Always good to knock on a few goals

In fairness the benburb one with the boy lovering could be a bit of an exception to the rule as the lovering family are all steeped in the club from the boys dad being manager to his grandparents totally running the club , I don't have any inside knowledge as to why lewis definitely stayed but the bens are huge to the lovering family and its pretty much their way of life and maybe it pulled on his heart strings a bit.
Understand that and it it’s for that reason then no issue but if it’s for money then it’s completely different . Guess we will never know

If that’s the case with the boy from Benburb then it really is not worth bothering about . The fact that you would stay at a club like Benburb and not go to Talbot is incredible . Move on not worth it .

Wouldn't get picked in front of James Marks if he signs up for another season.
Forty years young. Fit as the proverbial (every week) and, I think, top scorer in the division as well.
If we are really debating this then I’m out . Dear oh dear Shankers is on a completely different planet

Think Shankland will stay to be honest once he has proved his fitness, agree re Taylor, Samson, Stafford and Mason first 3 all have reasons beyond managers control, surprised with Mason as was confident he would be a big player for us next season.
I think that’s an important point regarding outwith the manager/ club control . It was not financial reasons that Staff,Taylor and Samson have left so the club can take some comfort in that .
The other players will be a mix of needing a fresh start and money will definitely be a factor .
Big rebuild in the summer and don’t see the signings so far able to replace the likes of Stafford or Taylor but time will tell1 -
That’s another blow . I’m guessing he’s free to go as contract up

Aye that sums things up nicely. Just a pity the Talbot guys on here aren't able to win with a wee touch of grace about them.
Pity the Bankies on here can’t stop moaning about decisions . Works both ways my friend

Big time attitude ... get a grip ffs ... Talbot won the game against a team who were rotten on the night , fair do's and congrats.
your goals came from a free kick that never was and a cruel deflection but over the piece yous deserved the win , dont get carried away with yourself and remember the pumpings we've given you both home and away this season.
It’s a fact mate . Both the decisions on the lead up to both goals were correct unlike the penalty award And as for pumpings where did that get you again ? Oh you won the we beat Talbot cup . Tinpot

A brilliant performance last night from the boys . Well deserved victory after a difficult run .
I thought overall all the boys were great .Craig and Neilly were rock solid and Staff got his goal to add to a very good performance.
Gareth was immense and for me the best midfielder in the league by some distance.
Ross Smith and Ross Taylor were excellent especially 2nd half when we got the ball down . Smith led the line brilliantly with Taylor running at them as usual and winning free kicks and creating chances . I’m guessing these boys 1st major final and they justified Tuckers faith in them .
Fantastic to win more silverware in what has been a difficult season .3 -

A red card and a penalty conversion maybe changes it, but unfortunately the officials shat the red card part and we shat penalty bit.
Bankies didn’t create enough, and lost.
Never a red card and as for the penalty your player dived so shouldn’t have been given .
Same player tried to get young Taylor sent off by throwing himself to the ground when it was him that made the head motion .
All in I would suggest the decisions went for you .Suck it up along with your big time attitude manager

This. And also will EK now vote against B Teams? He’s been pretty vocal about them too and their ridiculous involvement in the lower tiers.
I think you will find that most managers will fit to the strategy of their current employers.
Will be interesting to see what the position is and you may find Mick is still vocal but time will tell .2 -

Apart from Leishman,Boyle and Samson, nobody else in that team would be near a Talbot jersey, in years gone by. Some injection of cash needed for Tucker to rebuild in the summer, he might even feel he's done his stint and go out as Talbot's greatest manager, or will he have the strength to attempt to mold another team, to tackle the pyramid system.
I agree with Samson . I think you are being a bit dismissive of a few others in that team . Stafford Armstrong and Taylor are more than good enough to wear the Jersey .

The reality is that the suspension and eligible player system needs to be updated and a proper software system invested in by the SFA . All centered around the player ID and a register of every competition they have played in that season .
May be expensive but needed.
Another point I don’t get is the South Challenge cup officials decided that Talbot after presenting their case were thrown out . If the evidence was they checked with the official the only explanation was they didn’t admit their mistake ?

Saw Taylor scored again but not picked from the start. Always seems in and out the team
Squad rotation I expect . Seems no other reason as his performances and numbers etc are very good .

Interested, that’s all. I have a solution though. Wait till we have the last four, reinstate EK and add in the three ‘B’ teams
Haha sounds like your running a new Lowland setup

Whatever the misunderstanding was, the fact remains that Bradley-Hurst was ineligible so result cannot stand.

Totally unfair, Kevin was simply giving his opinion regarding what the organisers of the competition have said. He made the point that reinstatement was not ideal, but rules are rules and given EK had 5 cup tied players not involved, let's see what decision is.
Probably best after all if he just kept his mouth shut . However difficult that clearly is

On the game . Very possession based and have some good players . Be interesting to see how it all comes together but will need to in my opinion be more attack minded .
