Big game . Team selection crucial in these games . Not sure of injuries etc

How was it . Second half better ?

Big game . Mon the Talbot

Feels like a bigger game than it should be today . As good a time as any to put in a performance that can kick on from . Team selection will be interesting.

agree, thought talbot controlled 2nd half and could have been 3 points.
I think controlled most of the game but didn’t create enough and can’t remember too many shots on target

Thought it was a 4.3.3 but didn’t keep the wide men high enough .

1 each today with Pollok
Poor result today . Didn’t do enough to win and will need to get better very soon . Disappointing

Good luck to the boy . Clearly if you don’t want to stay Tucker will act quickly and that is a good thing . Hopefully use it to strengthen the squad which in my opinion is still strong in quality but needs more depth .
Looking forward to the game today and hopefully a good performance and ultimately get through

Yeh heading up tonight . Hopefully get through to the next round but won’t be easy I suspect .

Whilst I don’t like it at least it’s Astro tomorrow although if the wind kicks up Petershill is horrible

Given the budget and constraints for the home club there's only so much they can do mate. Same for both clubs playing on the surface.
Regards the game itself I felt Camby held their own until the goal but Talbots experience and squad depth proved to be the difference in the last 20mins.
Yeh agree mate I know the guys work hard under tough financial constraints so not a slant on them .

A win is the most important thing on days like this . Cambuslang well organised and played well I thought . The pitch was shocking for this time in the season and was very much a leveller . Good header for the winning goal . Need to be better moving forward but 6 points on the board is okay given last weeks game .

Onto the next game then and a trip to Cambuslang . Hopefully back on track but won’t be easy

Just be happy your team won without talking down a young talented kid

Watch the highlights the boy flings himself to the ground at every opportunity rolls about if that's what you like to watch carry on
Flings himself to the ground . Have a word with yourself . You might disagree that they were penalties and that’s okay but let’s not go overboard here .

Really wow soon as anyone was near him was on the floor
Twice he went down as I recall the whole match and both should have been penalties .

I thought Talbot could have had a few first half and whilst a couple of dodgy moments at the back were comfortable. 2nd half Troon came back into it especially last 20mins . Two good goals and always good to see a debut goal

Tough away game to start with . Good to get the football back and hopefully off to a good start .

Honestly don't know but was sure I read he was a central midfield playmaker.
I would say he is . Talbot have options with wide players without playing Wardrope there

Also, is that not what Michael Wardrop is?
Yes and a extremely good one at that . Played wide the other night though but don’t think he will play there much ?

Badly need a centre mid
I thought Talbot were very good 1st half especially and central midfield controlled it . Could have been 5 or 6 at half time easily .
