Fine, then we'll sentence UVF supporters to 6 months and sentence you to 3 months. Feel better?

You don't get to deploy "the other side are worse" arguments when you're planting bombs in shopping centres. You're all the baddies.

I’m not a supporter of either side here

Yes. Murdering innocent people to try to make it happen is objectively a very bad thing that no-one with so much as a shred of basic human decency could ever support. Tolerance for that view is beneath contempt.

Yes, but the other side were worse (and they had the entirety of the British establishment behind them)

Fun fact: every time Celtic fans sing in support of the IRA they're breaching section 12(1A) of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Not that there's the tiniest chance of Police Scotland or COPFS ever doing anything about it, of course.

    Fun fact: 26+6=1

    To paraphrase George Orwell

The creatures outside looked from Tory to Labour, and from Labour to Tory, and from Tory to Labour again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Is that what made him become a snitch?

Greer - who can kindly be described as a nyaff - has repeatedly spoken out against Assad and his regime. Assad is considered to be directly responsible for the death of over 230,000 of his own people in the last 10 years, including over 15,000 estimated to be tortured and over 150,000 forcible disappearances. Assad and said regime remain in power but Greer is no longer in Government. Is this the meme story/comparator here?

If I have understood correctly - and perhaps not - this is not just peak Facebook Da here, this is a whole new level.....

    It’s not that deep.

It’s a bit of an oxymoron to say they’ve done nothing but at the same time given landlords what they deserved, but I’ll take it at face value for now.  Can you show me your workings to back up your assertions please?

I was saying IF they had mucked up the private rental sector it would be what landlords deserved.

You make a valid point. But 20 years old.

And in the intervening time the incumbents have managed to muck up the private rented sector for both landlords and tenants while at the same time denuding Councils of any money to deal with housing, preferring to channel it to Housing Associations who don’t build fast enough.

They’ve done nothing to “muck up the private rental sector for landlords”, and if they had it would have been exactly what landlords deserved. The rent freeze didn’t go far enough and it’s now ended with little chance of being reintroduced anytime soon.
