Are you suggesting that the UK was not an EU member state in 2014?
You’re right. I misread your post slightly.

There isn’t an argument against another independence referendum, though - as the 2014 ref was on whether we wanted to be part of an EU member state. We’ve never voted on whether we want to be a region of an anti-EU member state.
Starmer doesn’t want a referendum on joining the EU purely because he knows - whatever the opinion polls show - that he has to cater to the right- and far right-press, or risk being labelled a socialist leftie (boo!). It’s the same reason he vocally opposes Scottish democracy: he knows it’s necessary to come across as a sufficiently blood-and-soil UK Nat to those whose views (and newspapers) matter in Little Britain.
Starmer and Labour have no interest in changing the direction of the UK. They’ll just change their values in return for a brief period in power.
It wasn’t though, was it?

Apparently there's been an incident offshore in Qatar between 3 Aberdonian's.
1 boy has murdered his room mate and left another in intensive care. Battered them over the head and bundled them up in sheets. Some boy, Scott Forrest? I think, is the accused.
Nothing in the news about it, being in Qatar.
You can take the boy out of Torry…

Won’t be a performance that’ll live long in the memory today but we’ve given ourselves a real opportunity of winning this cup when you look at some of the teams left. Would take anyone other than Dundee and to an extent, Dunfermline. Clyde would be lovely in terms of progression to the semis. When is the draw ?
13th. It’s also the draw for the semis.
