County genuinely look as if they are playing with no central midfielders. Lundstrum has literally ran 40 yards down the middle of the park 3 or 4 times free as you like. Randall is too deep and the game has completely passed Loturi by.
Anytime we win possession back its a long thump upfield because there is no other options. Turner on Loturi off and try and keep the ball for longer than 3 passes. If Dhanda can get on the ball without being 20 yards from his own goal, that would help as well.

Well my money is going on a penalty to rangers, plus a red card for a County player. Do I put it on as a double or two singles though.
That's a safe, safe bet.

Unless a deal materialises out of fresh air that's too good to pass by, I'd guess we're unlikely to do anymore business.
Suppose if a player or 2 we're to leave then that might change things.

Alex Keddie's hand is riding insanely low on Midge's hip there

Yes. He’s lethal up front with Neil Tarrant.
Think you're forgetting a certain Mr Bone

If those are busy the best of the rest option is the Caledonian, on the high street. It's no great, but it's no awful.
The Caledonian is alright, was in there the last time I was up. They did accidentally charge me £71 for 2 pints though.
The National is pretty good too.

I think, even given our differences in a footballing respect, we call all agree on one thing;
f**k the tories.

Hopefully nothing. The squad is crying out for a centre back.

According to Arsenal he can play anywhere across the frontline and has “explosive pace”. But apart from half a season with Accrington Stanley he hasn’t played any senior matches.
Aye, spoke to a pal who is an Arsenal fan who said he can play att mid as well. Couple of English teams in for him too so we'll see what comes of it.

Linked on twitter with Nathan Butler-Oyedeji. Striker apparently, which is clearly what we're crying out for.

Six goals let in against teams in leagues below us and now Celtic next...
...yikes.
Doesn't bode well, does it.
We were short at CB anyway but I think that stat only reinforces the fact we need another defender in.

It probably was Henderson, he had a few shots at goal. Looked lively, granted against a League One side. Might have done better when through on goal in the first half - heavy first touch - and hit the bar second half.

I see on Brora's twitter we had an XI out last night against them at the HFA. I'm assuming it was the youngsters, but anyone any idea of what the team was?

The only one who "invaded" this thread was me, and a lot of that was down to MacGregor bleating in the press about other clubs overspending then deciding to chuck 6 figure fees about.
St Johnstone fans have had a massive issue with County for longer than the last couple of weeks. It's really quite unusual, but kind of flattering in a way.
Anyway, professional job done, was a no win situation but best possible start (on paper) to the group.

Went along to the game yesterday with one of my Tink supporting pals. Tokely tried to do their new young striker off the ball about 3 times - he honestly is a horrible piece of work.
If you were going to make a cast of your authentic ICT player, then a terracotta Ross Tokely is what you'd be left with.
I see Baldwin is club captain this year, and Laidlaw vice captain. Seems alright to me.

If twitter is to be believed, it might have been Jack Fitzwater.

Is anybody doing Stranraer next Saturday? Logistically impossible to do in one day without driving as far as I can see.
I had a look at training it a couple of weeks ago, hoping to get an advanced ticket leaving from Edinburgh at much cheapness. Was the best part of £60, took about 4 hours and involved 3 changes.

That Paul Lawson is a player, btw.
P.S. f**k St Johnstone their fans are all absolute banjo strings

Whilst 3 players coming in with experience of the Scottish game seems a logical and encouraging approach, I'm hoping that's not the extent of our business this summer.
Need a couple more on top of that, I'd say. Fingers crossed

This will leave us with
Allardice
Turner
Dhanda
Loturi
Callachan
Tillson
Surely every single one of them will be demanding first team football (maybe bar Tillson?), suggesting one of them may be off?.
Callachan spent a bit of time on the bench last season, so even if he was demanding first team football he'd need to earn it - which he didn't last year.

He's a staunch rangers fan. Long may his scoring exploits against them continue.

Was listening to radio scotland on the drive up and MM was talking in the past tense about his time at County. Might be nothing to it but the presenter noticed it as well.
