Frightened Rabbit at Moshulu on Thursday... that's my last one for a while.

Out for a run just there, and whilst I was passing a couple of women talking, one of them decides to move her kid's buggy so that it blocks the pavement - whilst I'm literally about three metres and one second from it.
I was able to adjust most of my body, but my headphone cord got tangled round and snapped clean off, but really I just kept thinking, supposing I had just clobbered into the buggy? I'm a big guy, I could have seriously hurt the kid in the buggy.
Some folk are just plain ignorant and selfish, caring only about themselves. She could see me coming a mile off but she couldn't have just waited one more second to move the buggy.
People with push buggies are a law unto themselves. I always think of that women from The Office Christmas specials who's pregnant when I see them walking in town. Just because you have a baby doesn't mean your manners have to disapper!

To my surprise, I found 1st, 2nd and 3rd year at uni to very easy work load wise. 4th year is just a bloody nightmare though
Yeah... no matter how many times our tutors told us that at the start of fourth year I just never believed them!

Frightened Rabbit tomorrow, good one.
I saw them at Moshulu a few weeks back. Pretty good but thought We Were Promised Jetpacks who were supporting them were even better.

Add my name to those who can't believe you're mentioning Shane Warne and Will Carling in the same sentence.
And me... Shane Warne compared with Will Carling.
Although that's only the second most ridiculous thing said on this thread after dogma's,
Re his personality, well if you had a lunatic running about your school shooting your pals, you might just grow up to be alittle less outgiong and charismatic than other people.Dear lord.

Or they are typical yankee b*****d who always want the better player to win.
Same happens at Wimbledon I'd say (unless it's a particular crowd favourite that's the underdog). Can't really blame them for wanting another Federer - Nadal final.

Anyone else find it quite bizarre that a tennis stadium is named after Louis Armstrong?!

The Gabriella Cilmi album... which is actually really, really good!
I had a Concrete Blonde collection playing before which I think I'm going to put on again.

Leave them alone - they'll go away within a day if you don't touch them.
The horse has already bolted I think... shaving just made them ten times worse.
I've tried Sudacream on them as well (it's great for spots) but again, think that might have made them worse.

Anyone got a good tip for getting rid of midge bites? I stupidly read my book outside on Monday and think I've got bitten... which wouldn't be a great problem but I've got a meeting for a job on Friday and I don't think looking like I've got chicken-pox is going to be a great selling point. This also indirectly made them worse as I needed a shave and just about took half my face off.

Eating seriously strong cheddar before going to bed last night.
My dreams were treading a fine line between fantasy and reality... amongst others I thought I was drowning, having a heart attack, dying of carbon monoxide poisoning, and there was someone in my flat trying to kill me.
At least I hope the cheese was to blame... don't fancy going through that again!

Things could be worse, I could have been swimming behind Dougalldog.
Edit:- Just remembered what the root of the 'TV mirror' thought was. I thought it'd be cool if you had a mirror channel so when you werent watching TV it would just look like a mirror.
Reading that back I sound like I should be roommates with Britney Spears.
I might come share with both of you because I had a similar idea of making a website that would be like looking into a mirror.

A cover of Panic by Tiffany (err, yes... that one). Even more bizarre is the fact it just about works.

Rangers and Celtic advertising for children to go to their football schools isn't sectarian, it just shows that they have the money and the impetus to go out and canvas for prospects.
Nowt sectarian about that, more good business sense!
Exactly.
Why don't Ayr advertise in the Ayrshire Post or whatever it's called..

In today's fife free press (kirkcaldy local newspaper) today, there is an advert for a kirkcaldy-based celtic supporters club, encouraging people to "join up, come and see the trophies and the new signings at parkhead, against kilmarnock on the first game of the new spl season" surely the local paper should be encouraging folk to go and watch their local team instead of trying to turn them into glory hunters? the other week there was a competition for kids to win a tour of ibrox
You do realise how advertising works, yes?
Perhaps you should be venting your anger at Raith for not placing a similar advert.

Ho ho ho, shetlandbairn has got his Savo hat on. It's just a pitty that the St.Mirren weans don't contribute much to General Nonsense or you would reel a few in. Well, actually, i'm very thankful they don't.
Nah! By small-ish I was meaning teams outwith the OF, Dundee United, the Edinburgh sides and Aberdeen.

I wouldn's suspect there would be many football fans who wouldn't know that tbh. Even most people who have a slight knowledge of football would know that, I'd imagine...
Was she a football fan though? I'd be very, very suprised if anyone who didn't know much about it would get that.
Fudge is right in that St. Mirren was a stupid answer if you knew anything about football... was probably just the first small-ish team that came into her head though.

Agreed. There was a woman on real radio today taking part in a quiz, one of the questions was "which scottish league team has always maintained it's amatuer status?"
Her answer? "st mirren"
To be fair, that's not that easy. I bet a large number of men would struggle to give the right answer.

When the hell did David Attenborough die?!

Apologies to Rowan for my smart arse comment then!
I just assumed it would be a nine start for them as there's a five hour difference on the east coast.

One of the guys in my team logged a problem with IT this morning to be told that the team in America would have to fix it and they weren't in until 2pm our time!
Have you heard of this thing called time differences?

Enough!
If there was a P & B Hell (sortof like an anti Gold Forum) it would just be full of pun based threads.
