Not pretty for Clyde either, particularly walk-up prices:
- Adult – £260
- Over 65s – £200
- Young Person (18 to 26) – £200
- Under 18s – £50
- Under 12s – £5
- Adult – £19
- Concessions – £15
- Under 18s – £5
Arguably the £15 for concessions is the worst part.

I'd rather they just said they were potless instead of fibbing and saying it was to build a decent squad.
They did, they mentioned it's for increased running costs.

Was it a competitive game? Any details on this for my records that I keep would be greatly appreciated
Was some point after he was bombed out of station park in January 2018.
hard to emphasize quite how bad we was for us, then seeing him all of sudden do decent at Montrose was bizarre.

They are also out of contract - would be very surprised if we could offer then enough money to sign on again. Additionally McDonald had a serious injury last season and missed the whole campaign (only made a subs appearance in the last home game)
Hmm okay fair enough, asking for no reason in particular btw

Is it not bad enough that the League Cup is played as a series of pre-season friendlies by many clubs without resurecting this Forfarshire crap.
It's one of those things that's good in theory, especially if all clubs had youth teams. But because only Montrose would have a youth team to lean on it wouldn't really make sense for any of the other Angus clubs to enter.

Think Grady or Spark might go. think cruickshank is out of contract and didnt get much game time so he might go too most of the squad is under contract so can't see many going
How about handling and McDonald?

It's a body in the door. But that's unbelievably underwhelming to kick things off. Hardly makes you confident we're going to remedy the inability to score & look moderately attacking.

In a time where so many players are dynamic and athletic, we almost lack it entirely.

You can see they aren’t used to playing together which doesn’t help. Definitely some unsure passes, indecisiveness. I hope some match time will help.
Our over reliance on certain players coming to the fore

Want to be optimistic but we've just simply not been good enough in our last few games, this not taking our chances thing is a real issue especially if we can't do it against Gibraltar.
Not to mention how leaky our defence has turned into.
just seem to feel we got really complacent mentally after the qualification.

Now we're in June and contracts have expired, do you think Forfar will be signing anyone soon or just wait until later in the window?
Was hoping we might have announced someone over the weekend but hasn't panned out, feel like whoever the first player in is will set the expectations.
Might be asking for a lot but I'm hoping it's someone who you can look at and think they'll guarantee you at least 7/10 every week, along the lines of Stuart Morrison, Craig slater etc.

Centrehalf:- Trav and Hawkeye were solid last season but we need to get a specialist centrehalf.
What makes you say trav isn't a specialist centre half?

Individual matches can go one of three ways, you accepted in your previous post that there an advantage to be had in playing on a plastic pitch, quantifying it is more difficult, trying to do so over the single games mentioned above literally pointless.
In no way did I express a plastic pitch gives an advantage, merely suggesting that the root cause of your argument is possibly based on your own clubs performances on astro this season.
I recommend you got to a Dumbarton game in the middle of winter, then go to a game on astro in the same week and you tell me what's a better spectacle.

Fairy Nuff but there's plenty of posts in the past coupla pages questioning/denying there is an advantage.
So do you think the pitch is the main reason you couldn't win away to Livingston and Killie this season?

There has been a general shift away from the use of artificial pitches in England too. They were once used by a number of big clubs – they became a sort of fashionable accessory in the 1980s in particular, but they are now expressly prohibited at the top level: the Premier League Handbook, which contains all of the competition’s rules, states that ‘no league match shall be played on an artificial surface.’
Spfl and the EFL are incomparable when it comes to this because of the difference In finances.

Does anybody actually care about the league cup? completely pointless exercise.
Enough to tell people they don't care it seems.
