  1. I don't think there is any hope the game will be on. Another frost tonight along with near freezing day temps I would expect an early call off on Sat morning at the latest.
  2. No repeat of Wed night here in Broxburn in terms of getting away with mistakes/poor defending. Terriible goals although one was also a great finish but overall haven't created any chances of note. Stupid red card didnt help but wouldn't have made any difference to the outcome.
  3. Poor 1st half but go in with an undeserved 1-0 lead with a goal right on half time. Apart from the opening 10mins its been mostly Largs on the front foot. Very sloppy and aimless passing.
  4. Signing news coming up according to x/twitter feed. Anyone heard anything.
  5. The current situation has been 2-3 yrs in the making with (in my opinion) a lack of ambition by the club to progress up the pyramid. It's been a downward spiral since throwing away the league a couple of yrs ago but even back then and last season the main difference was that when they played s*ite (which was often than not) they still managed to win. As others have already said the overall recruitment has been poor and if they don't bring in more quality/experience then this team will go down. I've not seen anything this season to make me think otherwise.
  6. Talbot drawn away to Cumnock in the 2nd round of the Junior Cup.
  7. The first half wasn't good but they were completely devoid of ideas in the 2nd half. I remember one corner and little else, some awful passing and 2nd to most balls. Not sure what the point in having a trialist on the bench, doesn't get on in midweek and thrown on today in the 87th min. I suppose the only positive today was the return of boylan.
  8. Plenty would have said the same about Kilwinning last season and we all know how that ended up. The lack of goals is a concern although it is still early days but the performances across the first 5 games has generally been poor.
  9. Trialist named as Tarek Abed on the Troon twitter feed. Shankland in the starting line up.
  10. Always a tough place to go but will be even tougher tonight. Trialist on the bench - anyone know who it is/position? If he plays I wonder what are the odds on Shankland getting on the score sheet...
  11. Bottom of the table so the only way is up but whatever optimistim may have been there after sat was blown away this evening. Woeful passing, long balls which the St Cadocs defenders could have coped with all night. Apart from the 10mins after the equaliser St Cadocs were the better team. Watched Tucker sitting on the steps to the changing rooms for a good 5 mins at the end of the 1st half staring at the team sheet - he should have been straight in the dressing room to try and sort out that terrible 1st half performance.
