Also, going down the corn snacks route - Tesco own brand onion rings are the fuckin tits and leave your fingers caked with that oily oniony dust that only comes off of onion rings.

Only Marks and Spencer brand salt and vinegar chipsticks are even close in the corn snacks category.

I've never had a sub-standard packet of onion rings from any provider. A strong contender for most consistent crisp. (yes, it is a crisp before anyone starts)

Recently discovered Marmite Walkers, which are superb.  Think I'll have a packet just now actually...

I saw Marmite peanut butter in Tescos last night. It made me boak, even though I've no idea what Marmite tastes like.

Strange that something so objective hasn't resulted in him being punted like all the jokers before him, but you must have different objective facts from the FA. Have you thought about getting in touch with them?

Ah yes, the FA, famously the bastions of good football decision making.

Do you honestly think that winning nothing with the current group of players, whilst Italy, Germany, Spain and Netherlands are going through a banter era constitutes Southgate doing a good job? Continuing to pick prize plums like Maguire and Dier in his squad automatically excludes him from being considered doing a good job.

Dyche, Howe and Potter are all pretty good managers at least. Southgate too for his level. They're obviously nowhere near the top of the tree, but they've all done jobs you would describe as "good" at the very least. Potter was England's best hope of having someone in that upper bracket but he's gonna need to rebuild further down the league or maybe overseas again.

    Southgate's a dreadful manager.

Only thing I will give him credit for is realising a good few years before the wider football public that Alexander-Arnold was an absolutely fucking hopeless footballer.

  5. Hickey's a better player than Patterson. But the drop off to Patterson is small enough to not care. And who knows about Calvin Ramsay, looks like he'll be up there too

This means there should be no O'Donnel or Cadden types getting capped for the next 10 years thank the heavens

Flipside is that the pressure is really on Norway to win vs us in June, if we can win over there then they're almost of that point of needing favours.

If we win in Norway then we can afford to lose to Georgia, and Norway would still need to beat Spain and us at Hampden

What a night. Was absolutely shitting it until about the last minute of injury of time.

    Every player was absolutely outstanding.

What a fucking player we have on our hands with Aaron Hickey. Boy is 20 years old and puts in performances like that. The potential that young laddie has is limitless. He really could go to the very very top.

Oh and Rodri get it right fucking up you, you greeting faced p***k.

Hickey is nailed on to go to Man City imo. He's the exact profile of full-back Pep loves. Willing to bet he moves there in summer 2024.

Quite a weird take then is it not? Those are the only two clubs of note in Wales. They are going to struggle to compete at any semblance of international level if the highest level the majority of their squad are playing at is Barry Town in the Welsh Premier League. Obviously any player of any real talent is picked up by English teams - it's the same for the Irish or indeed any nation without a half-decent league of its own. We're increasingly seeing it ourselves despite our actually quite good league with our best boys going off to EPL teams - I (and I would think most others in Scotland) still consider them to be developed by our system regardless. Gilmour, Doak, Wilson, Patterson, Hickey etc. are products of our system, but were all playing abroad whilst still eligible for U21 football.

Don't see how its a weird take. Playing in the English football system receiving English money. They're an English club.

  9. As an aside, was just thinking about Welsh football and youth development. They must be the most pathetic, craven country in FIFA. Every single one of their players developed by English league clubs with English money. If the English youth development goes into the shitter, so does the Wales national team, and they have absolutely zero agency to fix it. Who was the last Wales international to come through the academy at a Welsh club? Has it ever even happened?

What a sad state of affairs.

I was trolling someone asking what they meant by saying no time wasters as well but didn’t get a screenshot of it at time and can’t log back in.

I am certainly not proud of my behaviour.

One time in high school I spat on the a car that belonged to the mother of a child I didn’t like.

I've spat on a car before for blocking entry onto a pavement. Had to go out onto the road with a pram to get round him. Big fucking grogger right onto the windscreen for my troubles.
