Strange one if they are willing to let him go . Wonder if a wee bit of negotiation is required regarding any sell on percentages .

We seem to have History of winning the big ones at Dens . Cody Cookes hat trick springs to mind .

The way I see it , both Dundee and ourselves will lose to the old firm .
We then go to Dundee and if we get a draw there we will probably only need one more draw from tbe next two home games to get fifth place .

I can remember Kwon and Baccus being in the same squad, but I can't remember them ever being on the pitch at the same time... I wonder if Robinson thinks they're too alike. It would be interesting to see how they got on together with them both breaking up play and getting in the grids of the opposition.
I would love to see both of them in central midfield with Kiltie and OHara and one main striker . Think we would be very hard to beat .

Last time I spoke with Iain was at the celebration of winning the Anglo Scottish Cup. It might have been the 35th anniversary in 2015.
Iain travelled (I assume at his own expense) from USA to be at the event.
He came across as such a humble guy who says that his time at St Mirren was the greatest period in his career.
I don’t believe he ever won international recognition or trophies with any other club bar St Mirren.
He qualifies for the Hall of Fame.
What appears to tarnish his reputation at our club is the 24 hour period when he was appointed our manager.
From what I understand he was informed that not all the directors were in favour of his managerial appointment so he felt from day 1 he did not have the backing of the board so he resigned.
Unbeaten manager!
Unbelievable left back!
His partnership with Peter Weir was out fcuking standing.
Great player . Mind him driving his Lotus Europa also mind his debut second time round in the Anglo Scottish Cup in 1977 against Notts County . Nobody knew we signed him until kick off .

that’ll be frank mcgarvey of liverpool
The very game . Think he played against Argentina the week after , the same game Iain Munro made his debut.

Remember Frank McGarveys Scotland debut being the same. Don't think he got a touch of the ball .

I wonder who the manager was referring to before Xmas when he mentioned two players coming in on PCA agreements.
I didn’t believe Spittal was one of them as we all knew bigger clubs would have been looking at him for next season.Reckon one is Jacob Bedeau , just a guess as we have been linked with him before and he becomes a free agent this summer .
Had hoped the other was Spittal , but he,s off to Hearts .
Wonder if the other one could be an Australian player . Just a thought as the two Australian players that have come to us have done well , and agents are likely to try and get players to teams that will help their players progress .

Read somewhere that full stand is just under 4500. Top tier is slightly smaller than bottom due to exits so I'd imagine about 2000 so far
I'm thinking its about 3,300 behind each goal and 4,500 in each of the stands going down the side of the ground . The capacity us just over 15,000 .
On another note , can fans access top or bottom tiers when they get in the stand . It would make sense just to open up the full stand for Saints so there's no massive rush to grab seats together at 2.55 .
Hoping Saints deliver next week .

Barry Wardrop didn't play enough games for us for him to have had a second touch.
Barry Wardrope was the first non Scottish player I saw score for Saints .

One of the funniest penalties I've seen for a while - and I don't really care about the Carson stuff either. Absolutely tremendous.
Carson should have been sent off . VAR team not paying sufficient attention .

Thinking it will be us , Killie and Hibs that will make up the to six . Which should give Saints three home games and the opportunity to push for fourth place . A fantastic place for Saints to be , especially with so many key players coming back from injury .

Agreed as long as there are a few wins sprinkled in there too.
Too many draws has been a big downfall of ours in the past.
I would still settle for draws in our away games .

We played very well today , lost a bit of energy for the last quarter , but in general a good performance, we would have benefited from having OHara and Kwon available to bring fresh legs to the midfield and as the season progresses having the extra cover in midfield might swing a few close games in our favour .
Think we are still very much an on form team and if we keep up our current form we should be pushing for top four . Thinking European football is a distinct possibility.

Since Strain is normally knacked around the 70mins make, Elvis will be a good sub for him and i expect he will still get mins on the pitch most games.
Much as I rate Strain as a full back , I don't think he will walk straight into the first team . It will take him a few matches to get match ready , then he has to prove he,s a better option than Elvis who will improve week on week . Great problem to have .

Saw Sutherland play 20 minutes at Montrose and felt he was more of a left winger . Very skilful but lightweight . He came to St Mirren from Rangers youth set up and showed up very well pre season . I think St Mirren would like to see how he does as a left wing back . Probably at a stage in his career where he's trying to find his right position . Think he might be a pleasure to watch on Alloas AstroTurf as he,s a very tricky player .

Going to be a hard shift for us today without Baccus and OHara . If we are able to have a back three of Fraser , Bolton and Taylor , I would stick Gogic in midfield .

Correct, not officially but later today it might be.
Is LJ going out on loan to Ayr?
We could be making space and finding funds for .... a goal scorer
Very good place for him to learn. Think he will do very well there

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a late bid coming in for him before the window shuts.
I've got that feeling too . Also got the feeling it won't be a great bid and that there are a few clubs that want his services for next season .

There is absolutely zero chance of his parent club selling to us for any less than the fee already agreed in his option to buy.
Aye , loads of teams queueing up to get him signed .

Understandable, and without going into politics, I imagine he'll have one eye on what is happening back in Israel.
I wonder if we'll take up the option then, if that is still on the table. If it's a settling issue, things like that can turn around quite quickly, but the die may have already been cast.
If he were to stay with us , I think we could getting him for very little maybe even a token fee but with a %50 sell on fee . Think his agent would be quite happy to have him on a three year contract if it involves him avoiding National Service for the next three years .

100k + add ons + 15% sell on is the apparent deal we've accepted
Reckon it's a deal that has the potential to rise to £100k , plus a sell on clause and Livvy talking up the transfer value .

I think Scott Burns reported we weren't in the mix for him.
Scott Burns mentioned that we had been working hard to get another player in and that player wasn't Main . I wonder if the other player was the guy from Celtic or have we been chasing another player for the last few weeks .
