  1. Iron Man Nothing special, but entertaining enough. 5.5/10
  2. The Day The Earth Stood Still 2/10 Rotten, in so many ways.
  3. Ratatouille 8/10 Funny and very well done, really enjoyed it. Record 8.5/10 Bloody hell that film was scary! If I wasn't watching it with 4 pals I doubt I would have made it all the way through.
  4. Just watched From Dusk 'Til Dawn. I thought it was ok up until the vampires started appearing, then it got a bit silly. I know it's probably supposed to be like that, but it didn't do it for me. I think Quentin Tarantino is hit and miss, some of his stuff is brilliant, but some (most) of it is rotten! 4/10
  5. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels 9/10 Really enjoyed it. The first 15 mins or so were quite slow, but once all the separate groups started interacting it was great, and really made me laugh at times too.
  6. I know where you're both coming from. I thought the movie was ok, I laughed quite a lot during it so that's a good sign, but at the same time it wasn't a patch on any of the truly classic episodes from earlier seasons. I saw Step Brothers last night. I thought it looked terrible but some of my pals wanted to see it and there was nothing else on, but it was actually quite funny. 6/10
  7. No Country For Old Men 7.5/10 Good film, really enjoyed it.
  8. I'm not sure what there was to 'get'. I understand why I did start watching it at half past 1 in the morning though, so I probably did miss a few things!
  9. Blade Runner 6/10 I know lots of people love this film, but I wasn't mad for it. Not sure why, just didn't really do it for me.
  10. Spiderman 3 4/10 I saw The Dark Knight a few days ago, and it really showed how good a superhero film can be. This was rubbish, comparitavely and anyway, though the scene with Peter Parker dancing on the tables in the jazz club is hilarious .
  11. I saw it at the Imax last night, loved it! 9/10 I agree with you about Dent/Two Face, I loved the way he came to be especially the Ledger was outstanding as The Joker, he totally nailed it. He was scary, funny and came across completely insane all at the same time. As KB said with the white knight being mentioned etc, there is lots of brilliant wee touches that really made the film.
  12. My all time favourite: Aiden McGeady- Lord of the Dance! Also, I noticed this one the other day while flicking through the music channels: Daniel Cousin Usher
  13. Yeah, great film, I'd agree with your rating of 9/10. It's kind of weird though, but I maybe didn't enjoy Memento as much as I did some other films I'd give as good ratings too. I almost appreciated it more than I enjoyed it if that makes any sense...
  14. Blade Trinity 2/10 I'd have given it 4, but the whole iPod thing loses it a few points - what a load of shite.
