Finlay was a standout for me in the preseason games and whenever I've seen him play this season, caused teams no end of problems and is a genuine playmaker. We've given him a new 2-year deal for a reason, this lad's got something there. I get that it's not a fun time to be a Loon (seriously, you guys are like the most miserable posters on the site), but I do genuinely think Allan is the kind of player that can help provide a spark.
Sure he is a player that can provide a spark but it seems McKinnon doesn’t like those kind of players.

I’ve heard they’ll be announcing that Paterson has left the club at around 7.
Was beginning to think it would never be announced

Spartans away megaphone incident was the game changer I think.........
Shows McKinnon is an absolute toddler.

18 months for Rusty has blown my mind. I was sure he would just be at the game last week as it was local to him so I am utterly astounded he's been tied up for 18 months at a senior club.
The mildly amusing thing being he is probably better than Jobber Skelly.
He was probably just there cause he was local but himself or McKinnon must’ve approached one another is what I think would’ve happened.

He and the rest of the squad will 100% have my full backing on Saturday, we need all the support we can get right now.
Yes. He and the rest of the PLAYING squad will have my backing. As for McKinnon, he has not had my backing for months.

He wasn't poor at us. He scored goals and was teeing them up left, right and centre season before last. He didn't get a run last season and when he did play we didn't play to his strengths.
What about the times he’d run to press a player at 1mph and if the defender kept a hold of the ball then Matty would just stand still infront of him and do f**k all.
What about the times he was through for a clear shot at goal but randomly decided he wanted to do a quick 360 with the ball before taking his shot.
What about the times where he would get complete and utter bullied on the park.
What about the times where he would simply not put in any effort at all.
He simply had to go.

MacLeod recalled by United, although the loan ended sometime this month anyway.
Not a big loss, he didn’t really contribute anything worthwhile considering he was loaned out by United to score goals.
He didn’t contribute anything as McKinnon hardly played him at all and when he did it was at RM. His strongest position is ST.

I blame Alistair Donald for all of this.

Ah yes, 1 game clearly tells you everything you need to know about a player.
The fact you're greetin for a junior player to be starting shows what a mess McKinnon has made of the squad.
For a junior player? If he’s playing for us currently then he’s no longer a junior player

You just don't get it.
Ray McKinnon owes Forfar absolutely nothing and won't be losing sleep at night because a handful of farmers dislike him. He's not a supporter like you I think you need to remove yourself from that mindset and understand the bigger picture a bit more.
This is all on the Forfar board not Uncle Ray.
Yes I know he is not a supporter. But I expect him to have a lot of respect towards the club which he clearly doesn’t.
I agree with you the board are a massive part of it. But Ray must surely know the club can’t afford to sack him

Why would he step down?
Would you step down from your contracted job, for no compensation, and put yourself on the job scrapheap with no chance of then operating at a similar level anytime soon?
It's the usual nonsense from football fans who don't live in the real world.
Football manager is completely different mate
Clubs not doing well and there’s no room to fix it, one of the worst positions they’ve been in their history and the supporters despise you. Surely you’d have some sort of respect to resign.
It’s football not a bloody job stacking shelves at Asda

I’m getting bored saying it now, he is our biggest goal threat (scoring or assists) Even his deliveries from set pieces are enough to have him on the park. He got about 10 minutes today and brought energy to the team as soon as he came on and we created our 2 best chances in the last 10.
Whatley and Robson dropped Kinglis and Patty in for me. Whatley can definitely do a job somewhere on the park for us, but not as a number 10. Finn would maybe benefit from a start on the bench and maybe give him a kick up the arse.
Think Skelly needs dropped too, just not sure what his attributes are right now?
We were settled in defence and midfield today, we just had no presence up top at all. Kept on playing long balls to Seb (the smallest man on the pitch). Skelly just had his work rate that was it.
About half way through the season I’d say our best 3 players that should be starting every game (not including McCallum as he will either way) is:
Patterson
Nditi
Morrison

Didn't acknowledge the young lads who made the trip......does he know its over?
Never acknowledges any fans. Went to Stranraer and all the players came over and clapped but McKinnon sprinted down the tunnel as usual

Really could of done without this interview tbh.
Known board member asking the questions and agreeing with ray that we deserved to win yesterday is not a good look. It really doesn't dissuade the opinion that the club are happy to continue and enable ray.
Hardly an interview, 1 minute. Just some small talk about the game.

Woke up this morning and fully expecting a defeat, at least I’ll not be disappointed at 5pm when it happens.
You are expecting to be beaten today?!?! I can tell you that at 5pm you will most likely be pleased with the result

McKinnon was away trying to get a new job when we had our by far best performance this season away to Montrose, I can’t remember if he was in the dugout against Arbroath. The fact that we played quite different to the majority of our other games then speaks volumes.
Was only away down south for the Montrose friendly, he was back for the rest

McKinnon reckons we deserved to win the game in his interview. I don’t know what he was watching because Huntly were the better side for 93 minutes.
He’s said in every single interview this season that we deserved to win

We won three glorified friendlies, League cup is a nonsense.
League cup stops becoming glorified friendlies when there’s 3 Angus clubs in the same group

I've asked if he can get any info on the trialist
The trialist will be the number 12 who I’ve seen warming up at pre match and half time with the squad at Spartans at home, Stranraer and East Fife away

Same here. I liked Matty. His first stint with us, he was pretty decent.
He is a very good player. When he puts in the effort, but majority of the time he didn’t. He just faffed about like a lazy shite

He was warming up pre match but didn’t go and warm up during the match and was just sitting on the bench at half time warmup

Surely they could’ve waited until after tonight’s result, as a win would mean more people would want to come on Saturday.
