  1. I don’t disagree that we were weaker in the second half at all and yes I would be saying it if we drew. I think the first half was pretty good and the Livi changes helped them we didn’t seem to react to that but I wonder if Don should have changed things. That said their first goal came really early in that second half and that did tip the balance. I did feel throughout that the midfield battled but it did tire - they put a lot into the game. I don’t think it’s about Dhanda not playing again through the rest of the season but I do think we need to find a better midfield balance and for me yesterdays was better than what I’ve seen since Christmas
  2. Well I agree I think the team played better through the midfield without him he clearly has talent but we seemed to have a better balance today for me
  3. I honestly thought we played well - the first half up until the goal there was some nice stuff played and we created a few really good chances. I think we lack a bit of composure in front of goal and/or maybe a bit of luck. Fewer of the chances fell to a midfielder or striker. After the goal there was a period of it feeling like heads going down. I think after the first 15-20 minutes of the second half we got our groove back a bit but still not that composure near goal. I barely recall any of the strikers getting a clear chance. For me though I felt things had progressed since the Aberdeen and Partick games both of which I was at - so came away disappointed but wondering if there is any room left for a bit of hope as well
  4. My first game in 2.5 years and have to say I thought we looked decent first half had a couple cleared off the line and their keeper had a couple of saves. Second half they came on a bit but while they were better I thought we defended solidly. When we came up Del worked to get us sorted defensively and then worked on our creativity and presume he will do that now but my son and I enjoyed the game nad fe,t good to be back. Onwards I say.
  5. Have to agree with that last sentence. Players didn’t seem to like him but performed well and he’s probably learned a bit in recent years - it might be entertaining at least
  6. This for me is exactly it - I really wanted to stay a season ticket holder and could have been convinced. People do make mistakes and can turn themselves around. I hear the talk about private texts etc. but the opinions expressed made me incredibly uncomfortable and were made by a man in his 40s. Still take ownership address it from both the manager and the club and I have been prepared to move beyond it. I felt the failure to do that was the core issue for me. Martindale clearly has as has say the cricketer Ollie Robinson with similar kinds of texts though for me slightly different given they were made when he was a teenager. I've made mistakes in my life and had to own them, rather than brush past and ignore them. Am willing to put up with a lot - I watched all the home games under McStay and Coyle for god sake - but somethings stretch that loyalty - still off to buy my half season ticket - I don't think Roy comes out of this clean but I am willing to come back because I really like being part of that community.
  7. You don't think that a massive global pandemic might have had an impact - first in terms of not actually being able to undertake any work and then the financial impacts of said pandemic. I do think that the initial target was optimistic and perhaps not really believable even then but the environment is really difficult I think as well.
  8. No I'm with you - have not been since he was appointed but would really love to be back
  9. Yep i was a season ticket holder along with my kids and have not been back since he was appointed
