100%. Let's not kid ourselves on that it was anything else. We only got a point because they tired in the last 15 and made a mistake. Utterly woeful.

I came back from the Q&A almost feeling like it was a waste of time. Mathie is confident at talking but when you analyse it, there's not too much substance there. Bullen thinks Paddy is good enough and just had a below par season. Ooft. He also made out that we have 3 for the right back position. Yet, for 2 of them (McCallister and Hewitt) that's not their actual position and the other is 16 years old. His "good guy" mask slipped when the Partick game and lacked communication was brought up which seemed to hit a nerve. "Were you at Inverness!!!?". Wow. He then tried to bring it back and gave it the token "fair point" a few times and lowered his tone. None of the questions I felt offered any worthwhile information when answered that we didn't already know. There's always one guy who thinks it's all about him and that seemed to just asked his own 20 questions in the middle of other people's questions. It was fine but I wouldn't be in a rush to return for next year's.

So, does that now leave us with Bryden as the only out-and-out striker in the entire squad?

I'm utterly astonished we have not signed two new first choice full backs. We also need a bare minimum of 2 strikers with Dipo looking likely to go. Having Bryden as the only centre forward in the squad is league suicide. He's nowhere near it, in terms of first choice/regular starts.

The ticketing system at the club is beyond amateur stuff. It's utterly atrocious. Never get a reply to e-mails when asking about updates. No receipt for the pre-paid Season Ticket or any kind of a confirmation whatsoever. They implement an early purchase system in March, and even for the people who paid in full in March, we're now in July with a game on Saturday that is free for Season Ticket holders but 4 months after paying, when you now log into your Total Tickets account, there's no evidence you have bought a season ticket. How hard can it be? Will be the last time I pre-pay, can't be arsed with this shambles and carry on.

Did anyone else who previously got an e-mail months ago saying the shirts were oversold, and they would receive one "later in the year", get a shipping e-mail from Scottish FA this morning? It doesn't say what it's for or have an order number or anything but I'm assuming it's my boxed shirt.

Completely underwhelming. As time passes (albeit it's still a long window), my fear just continues to grow that we are going to suffer another season of Reading at LB, and an unchallenged one, at that. I'm also slightly disappointed that Bullen is still manager, but I understand he's back home for now, so I'm still hopeful he'll find another club soon.

Fingers crossed. Hopefully someone comes in for him while he's down there.

Given all of the rumours towards the end of last season about Bullen potentially leaving once the season drew to a close, I'm a bit surprised to see nothing further on this at all. I assume he's a certainty to stay for next season then?
