  1. What’s game that sounds like. Is it being filmed?
  2. Bankies pull a goal back on 75 mins Clydebank 1. Benburb 3
  3. Not really. If Pollok and Clydebank want to move up and are good enough then I’m sure they will and don’t think any of the two of them will care about the ones who want to stay. The pyramid is certainly not pointless, the leagues are changing for the better and the lower standard Spfl teams and low standard lowland league teams are all being relegated so the landscape is changing. The process is slow at the bottle necks of the SPFL2 and Lowland but in 5 / 10 years time both leagues will look very, very different
  4. I don’t think anyone cares to be fair. The pyramid although slow has been functioning well without any West teams coming up and it will continue to do so but once the West teams start getting their act together I can see a big impact and the Lowland and SPFL2 changing. The teams that want to go further from the West won’t be too bothered either if any Ayrshire teams want to stay where they are as I’m sure the West teams who are promoted will do well
  5. I think Beith would have done well also. The West clubs are behind the East as the WOSFL is a new association and everyone in the West for past couple years have been catching up but now they have a good selection of teams who have their SFA license so expect more to follow or look into the potential of gaining their license and then hopefully earn promotion to the Lowland or beyond. Think Beith would have done well in Playoff and definitely good enough to win it but they don’t have a license so hopefully they will have a license soon
  6. To be fair Longtime there are lot of attitudes like similar to yours about west teams and I’m kinda similar in your thinking of this as well and understandably so due to the past few years but there are a few who want to win promotion and when they do, it will be a domino effect as the ones who want to stay will be left with teams who are weaker so I could see their attitudes changing. The teams that I believe who want to go up are Pollok, Darvel, Clydebank, Kilwinning, Irvine Meadow and the rest unsure of, but that’s not me staying the others done wanna go up, I’m just unsure. I ain’t going to say that any team relegated this season and beyond from the Lowland into the EOSFL will automatically be relegated from the premier league, some will find that is their level, some might drop lower,
  7. I don’t follow them that much except like teams that were either tier 5 or less doing well in the SPFL since 2015 I think Remember there was a big of a scuffle about the name change a few years back but don’t know full details, suppose it was the usual power struggle you get between the in-house fighting
  8. Yeah heard this yesterday on Clyde midweek scoreboard that’s FC Edinburgh changing back to Edinburgh City FC Not checked yet but is this true? Or has it happened a while ago and I’m as usual late hearing the news?
  9. I was thinking similar but after checking the pervious finishes for the past 6 seasons, Edinburgh Uni were finishing 11 out of 16 but in the last 3 seasons finished in the bottom 3. 15/16 they finished an admirable 6th out of 15 teams then the next 3 seasons finished 11th and then last 3 seasons finishing in the bottom 3. Suppose the standard of the Lowland is becoming stronger each year so last few seasons is really showing where Edinburgh Uni are or eventually be, (unless they change), relegated and even if they survive, any team coming up from the EOSFL or the WOSFL won’t be considered as relegation fodder making it harder for the likes of Edi Uni and other team to be far from the bottom consistently
  10. Anyways trying to get back on track What’s everyone’s thoughts on the Challenge cup draw for WOSFL Teams? A few interesting and possible giant killing here Bellshill Athletic v Dundonald Bluebell Thornliewood. V Uni Stirling or Gartcairn Winners of Newburgh or Albion Rovers at home to West Park United Gretna at home to Darvel East Kilbride or Nithsdale. Vs Maybole or Lochar (can’t see this section other being an East Kilbride vs Maybole game but Lochar are the strongest of the two SOSFL teams ) Thoughts ?
