Quite the opposite, he let the players control the game. After reports on the Beith v Largs game it seems they had pretty much the same. Who would be a ref eh? Beith seem to be flying, team to beat again this year I think.

Still 15 to go in Clydebank v Hurlford and the ref, linesman & lineswomen have lost all control. Not sure who grades the referees or even watches them but someone going to get seriously hurt here if the standard continues its embarrasing. Still 1-1 entertaining game.

The penalty was given on the 94th minute not 99th, and 4 minutes must have been roughly what the Irvine Meadow captain spent on the deck with cramp when right beside touchline, swings and roundabouts. Ref had a very poor game despite getting both penalty decisions correct. Clydebank could have been out of sight at half time missing 2 sitters and having a goal ruled out for what looked a tight offside call (be good to see highlights). All round well contested game.
