I have arranged a friendly match against a German team for the day after the opener, Saturday 15th at 2:30pm. Scotland supporters v Germany supporters. We are a little short on players, and no doubt not all our players will be in peak physical condition that day (or any day really) so we will need a lot of subs. I am looking for a few more players, but mainly a couple of goalkeepers who can play a half each. If you are interested then let me know. We are a bunch of mild mannered teuchtors in our thirties and early forties. Whilst our opponents are an actual club, we aren't, so we could get pumped. I am however trying to convince the opposition to play their over fifties team against us and anyone that doesn't usually get a match. Our hosts have arranged a BBQ and beers for after the game.
