  1. But but it was great decision the happy clappers said
  2. You're making a right c**t of yourself here. No more internet for you tonight.
  3. Nice selective quoting. I said it all stems from the sacking AND the failure to deal with whatever has led to it in a timely manner. We've gone from everything being positive to incredibly negative in the space of 3.months. Something was clearly up by the Airdrie game, you could see it the performance/body language of the players and then THAT post match interview. For Barrowman to come out and say it's about performances is ridiculous. It's incredibly arrogant given our finish and is a red flag for any replacement. Like I said before, I don't believe it was true anyway. It would have been better to be honest and admit that there's been a breakdown in relationships and it was best for Murray to move on. Regardless of what was the real reason, it didn't happen overnight so it's a complete failure to allow it roll over into the start of the season. The destabilising effect is clear and the season looks dead before it's got going. Even worse, we might be battling at the wrong end of the table which was inconceivable at full time up in Dingwall back in May. There needs to be certainty ASAP. If that means announcing Potter/Cameron until January or longer then so be it. It's a complete failure but at least it puts it to bed and we move on.
  4. Anyone who thinks that having no permanent manager is not affecting the team and everything around the club really needs to give their head a wobble. 2nd bottom after 4, 1 derby defeat away from bottom No goals from open play, no "strikers" in squad. Shocking injury list High profile rejections of managers role Fan base divided f**king great decision by the BoD. The happy clappers need to get their heads out of the sand here. We are deep in the brown stuff and it all stems from the sacking and the failure to deal with whatever has led to it in a timely manner (which I personally do not believe had anything to do with performance/result). I've been pleased with everything that's gone on last season but for me, all credit is 1 game away from being spent.
  5. Why? Mental is sacking a manager after losing the opening league game of the season after finishing 2nd place to Dundee Utd previously, still be trying to find a replacement almost 4 weeks later and I thinking that this is normal and OK
  6. Step back from what? Holding the opinion that the board have seriously set us back because of rash decisions? Should we all just stick our fingers in our ears and pretend that it's all Ok? No one's criticising the team but it's hardly unsurprising that the events of August have absolutely killed optimism and somewhat changed the atmosphere.
  7. So with that same measurement, Kris Doolan should also have been sacked? Maybe Goodwin too? With the points total we had, we were unlucky not to win the league. We just couldn't keep the pace with Dundee Utd (unsurprising). We dropped points where.we weren't expected to and the opposite was true. Are you Andrew Barrowman?
  8. I'm sure it's been mentioned on here before but if we had the same form in the first half of the season as we did in the 2nd half, we'd still have won enough points to finish 2nd... Fragile stuff. Airdrie results are frustrating but sackable?
  9. Arrogance is exactly what it is. I also think that time has already proven that it's a bad decision for the reasons I mentioned before. This has not gone how the board has intended and we look likely to end up with a poorer manager than we started out with, or a high-risk choice, for no justifiable reason (unless there is a very unexpected left-field appointment) All we needed to do this summer was to strengthen the squad in certain areas but now it seems to be completely broken.
  10. Have they really? Or have they just picked at the low hanging fruit? They've picked up a club with run down facilities that was being run inefficiently by a bunch of dinosaurs. They've stuck a bit of money in to improve infrastructure, moved on players that needed to be moved on and improved a poor squad. They have managed to reengage well with the community through great Comms but then they've brought in experience to do so and building from a very low base. Now they've tried to take a further step and it's went very wrong and the buck for the fallout sits firmly with them. It's an unpopular opinion but maybe take a step back and think about it.
  11. A decision that would appear to have destabilised the entire club, one that a more experienced board would not have made? It's not really just a "bad decision" either... It's the lack of properly thought out strategy on the back of it. Having a shortlist of potential new managers that you haven't even sounded out about it is not a plan, it's naïve in the extreme. Now what you have is no manager, an off-form, unfit team, unsettled players and a divided fan base. No one with any credibility was suggesting that Murray should be replaced. Far too much revisionism going on in an attempt to justify the boards decision.
  12. Just when you think it couldn't get any worse... Beginning to think this board are out of their depth and the ship is sinking fast.
  13. Yes, that is exactly what should have happened, If the board had really been "considering it for a while". Having an idea of who you'd like is not a plan, it's like me divorcing my wife because I'd like to date Scarlet Johansson... We have been totally destabilised as a result and it looks like there is a high probability that we will end up with a poorer manager than we had in the first place. Looks more and more like the knee jerk decision Barrowman said it wasn't with each passing day. All because of what?
