  1. The post from his brother is a tad cringeworthy. Although any fans who abuse your own players like SOME last night are just total scum
  2. I totally agree with the comments regarding our formation last night but Holt can't take all the blame. It's still up to the players to carry instructions out and the show the commitment, know-how etc. I felt sorry for Duffie and Kingsley last night as they were exposed to two men nye on every time. A thought after a short spell in 1st half when it wasn't going for us, Holt could have shored us up in order to try gain a foothold. Credit to McGrandles last night the boy never gave in and kept trying to play but we had a severe lack of experience in midfield. A broken record?
  3. I would take a negative Jose Mourinho over any manager in the world if it brings winning football like he has over the years The game has evolved over the last 10 years and there's certain formations and positions which have faded from the game. I prefer to see fast wingers who take on full backs and put crosses in the box but it just doesn't happen nowadays. A lot of it is to with the coaching
  4. Jose Mourinho favours the 4-2-3-1 formation. We played with 2/3 strikers yesterday and still lost. This perception that 1 up front is negative sums up people's football know how
  5. You honestly think he isnt worth a 6 figure fee? Deary me That boy has massive potential and that's why he will go for a big fee. Depending on contract situation right enough
  6. Revenge for a few years ago when we got absolutely shafted by a certain referee at Pittodrie
  7. Maybe the kick up the arse he's needin at that level A bit like Faulds his head went after a few first team appearences
  8. Am not quite sure what happened with him at Thistle last season but I remember the opening game at Firhill and he ran the show. He fits the bill in terms of what we miss I reckon but if he still has it is another matter
  9. If we can address the inexperience side of our team them am pretty sure we will be the team to beat this season McCracken is already signed up and by talking to current pro's he is very highly regarded in the game. A midfield player with experience, a know-how and an attitude of taking no sh*t is required. Mind him that used to play with St. Mirren and Partick...
  10. Not another one who believes O'Brien was on more than £2.5k a week
  11. Decent signings to an already decent squad. County living within there means of course...
  12. Was told at weekend that Loy signing was only a matter of time An experienced centre half would see us with a decent squad going into the new season
  13. Higgins flattered to decieve at times even though he did show a bit of class on the odd occasion. Injured a lot of the time and not a consistent starter didnt help. He is one extremely vain footballer also. Cracking signing for Stenny though
  14. Anyone know if Brian Rice is still over in Dubai coaching. Seen him recently at a few games and is well known to be over at training on a regular basis. Spoke to him last season at a game and asked why he was at the stadium "Falkirk is my team always has been always will". Know Chipper is a big Celtic man but its pretty obvious he still has a good affiliation with our club
  15. Unfortunately hes only played 1 good game for us, Dunfermline at home before tiring. But hard to blame him today when he came on, game was already done I understand Vaulks has signed
  16. Krul is only going to go one way in his career and thats right to the very top. Technically an oustanding goalkeeper and it was so evident when he had his spell with us. Unsurprisingly some of our fans didn't rate him Along with him, Mallo, Fergie and McGovern they have easily been our best keepers in the last 10 years. Kasper, Lambers were decent but didn't feel Kasper had any confidence when it came to commanding the area. Great shot stopper though. Am sorry but I don't know how Olejnik has made it to the level he is at. Decent shot stopper but mostly every other part of his game isn't or wasn't good enough when he played with us. The least said about Higgins and Flinders the better
  17. Going by Pressleys's press after the game on Saturday I won't be surprised if Taylor leaves before the end of the month
  18. The only SPL club that McGovern is likely to go to is Motherwell. Every other team has there first choice and he won't sign to be a back up again
  19. Disappointed to hear about Tam O'Neill. A good guy and he definitely has fantastic ability for finding talent. Albeit a few this season haven't gone to plan but who knows if he actually recommended them
  20. Why when you go to order is there a £4.99 shipping charge?
  21. Dont see a problem with pressing high up the park. Friendly or no friendly
  22. Led to believe the striker on trial is from Scunthorpe. Two Dutch strikers were due over for trial this week also
