  1. I hope the players are not too distracted by al the potential speculation.

We have had such an amazing start to the season with such a bond between the players.

Hopefully they will let their "representatives" get on with it and keep their eye on the prize - promotion.

It's got to be the aim now surely?

No matter who does what in the January window.

I'm confident that the squad will stay together till the end of the season.

This is a special squad and a special season.

  2. A very welcoming set of results for us. I have to admit I let out a massive “fucking yass” when it came through that QOS had equalised. I then spent the remaining minutes bitting my nails hoping they’d hang on or even grab a winner.
Had a wee glance at the league 1 table and Raith are a massive 13 (thirteen) points behind Arbroath, mental to think it could of been us in that situation. Did anyone listen to the podcast the Ayr fan done with Scott Kirkpatrick, the stadium announcer? Apparently there was a rumour doing the rounds that after Alloa beat us Barry Smith phoned up Jim Goodwin thanking him for winning them the league. I so want that story to be true. What an absoulote minter.

Would actually be a belter if it is, although, I could imagine Goodwin telling him to 'get tae f*ck' unless they know each other well.

At least it shows him to be an "HONEST MAN"...................................

I'll not be satisfied until he gets an Ayr United tattoo, the Ayr glasses weren't enough for me.

He must be branded with the crest, like one of the herd.

I'm not letting him leave, ever.

I actually live not far from him so I'll be watching you, Mr McCall, everywhere you go sir, watching!

  4. I'm sure that Lachlan will be the first to admit that he hasn't got every decision right over the years but, looking back, he has made a number of tough decisions that have set us on this path to where we are today.

I for one thank him from the bottom of my heart for keeping my club alive, and slowly but surely, with most definitely the guidance of McCall, turning us into a far more professional outfit of late.

We now have an away support of many top league teams!!!

    So, so many positives.

    Thanks Lachlan.

    Buzzing for Saturday.

I take it the club never got any more tickets for the Rangers game as hinted last week. Had a wee look on their website and there are plenty of home tickets available in most parts of the ground.

Right, that's me away to delete all those "you may be interested in this Orange Walk happening near you" cookies....

I'm going to the ground to hopefully get a ticket off someone. Hoping I'll maybe end up lucky. Who knows.
