Same as you pretty much. I think Scott might have actually studied properly, I say we congregate in the library and let him impart his wisdom. He's Ong's apprentice after all.
I'm literally just using his lecture notes for this exam. You done much out with that?

I am ridiculously excited about the games this weekend. They're going to be a close couple of games but I think we're better than Nottingham and I think we'll be at the playoff weekend. If we do get pumped tonight, at least I've got an all day bevvy in Nottingham to console myself tomorrow.
Mon the Clan!
I'm still distraught that I can't go

6-1 for the Clan vs Hull last night.
Fantastic performance after a scrappy first period however the highlight was certainly Bruce's fight with Sladock, nothing gets everyone going quite like that!

Well I've cut all the fat from my introduction and two paragraphs and it's still 2100 words. There is no possible way to engage with the source material and explain the main aspects of the question within their limit.
Hopefully as it's Finlay's department no-one will notice.
I handed in an assignment for economics the other day which was a good 800 words over the world limit purely because I seen no possible way to keep it to what they were asking. I'm hoping they aren't too strict about it because from the people I was speaking to quite a few seemed to be in the same boat.

Had my first all nigther (I say all nighter, eventually fell asleep at some ridiculous time) to finish an assignment that was due in today for Macroeconomics. Totally underestimated the volue of work that was needed for something only worth 15%. Wont be making a habit of doing that!

I've got spotify on my iPhone and I'm trying to sync my playlists onto it so that I can play them when I don't have a good connection.
It says that you do this via wifi, so naturally I connected my phone to my wifi network using our password. For some reason it doesn't seem to be downloading the songs and I don't have that wee wifi signal at the top of my phone either. I'm not really sure why this is, am I missing something really obvious here that I need to do to connect my phone properly?

East Kilbride shopping centre is amongst my least favourite places on earth. Such a horrible place.

Maybe try re-installing it, to fix whatever problems, then uninstall it. Only thing I can think of.
That's essentially what I'm wanting to do as it isn't updating right just now but when I go to uninstall it thats when it comes up with that error thing I posted above so I'm not sure how to get rid of it

I'm trying to uninstall AVG from my laptop as it's not working right and when I go into control panel to uninstall it it comes up saying 'AVG installer application has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available'. Does anyone know how I can uninstall the program as this keeps coming up every time I try to get rid of it...

Just got told a full new exhaust for my T plate ford fiesta would cost over £600
New car for me I think...

I'm looking at new insurance quotes for my car and it seems I can get it significantly cheaper with one company but they fit a tracker of some sort to keep track of the mileage on the car.
Does this mean I will get monumentally shafted if I go over the mileage estimate I put in the quote? Also, it says that it's fitted so you 'only pay for what you drive'. In the same sense, does that mean that I might recoup some money if I drive less than the mileage estimate I put in?

Hmm, Strathclyde is closed tomorrow but I've still not had confirmation that my exam is off.
Reckon there might be a chance it's still on despite the fact students have been told not to come in?

I have a class test for microeconomics on Thursday and the amount I know after looking through the practice test is quite disappointing
Been postponed because of the snow, happy days!

James Mitchell the Politics guy? He is another hero - although he hasn't reached the plateau of Finlay.
James Mitchell, hero?

One of the teams I play 5's with lost 20-2 in the student league up at the powerleague in Glasgow on Wednesday. The team we played had a goal difference of +59 after 2 games so the sad thing is we were probably their toughest oposition so far...

I was there too.
I googled it last week and had read that the two pilot shows had taken four hours + to record, so expected similar.
I enjoyed it so much, I'm going again next week.
I thought Roxy was a waste of time and space (apart from the husband breathing bit that opened the door for quite a few subsequent jokes.)
Interesting to see how it's all done. Lots of references made to other bits in the show that might not make the edit, surely making life hard for the editor.
Wee Des was OK too.
Yeah Roxy was terrible. Lloyd was easily the best out of the lot, I'd never seen him prior to this show too so I'll certainly be looking out for him on TV from now on.

Went to see a recording of 'Ask Rhod Gilbert' tonight at the BBC studios for his 35 minute show.
It was a good night but the recording took a total of 4 and a half hours! Didn't think it would be anywhere near that

I completely overestimated my fitness capabilities and thought it would be ok to play 2 games of 5s and a couple of hours of badminton in 2 days. I'm totally wrecked and any sudden movement seems to be resulting in cramp

I have 2 hours to burn in the library. I am equipped with my books and a netbook. Since studying is out of the question, what websites would you recommend to keep me occupied?

I'm looking at my notes that I've taken from lectures in MPT and I'm left with about 5 theorists that I can look at without myplace working. Cant say I'm a fan of any of them.
