The 'Breaking Point' PPV sounds like it will be dreadful. And how is an 'I Quit Match' (Orton/Cena) supposed to be special on such a card? A PPV that is all one stipulation is just an awful concept.

It's not supposed to be special on that card. It IS the ultimate submission match though, as it's an entirely different thing to say the words I Quit than it is to just tap out.

It's the main events that are Submission Matches. That's what Vinny Mac confirmed on Monday.

One of the worst matches of the decade at Summerslam and then one of the worst segments of the decade on RAW. Something seriously wrong there.

Although Vinny saying "those masks are pretty gay" raised a giggle.

Taken from 411.

At last night's WWE Smackdown tapings, Jeff Hardy lost a loser leaves WWE cage match to World Champion CM Punk.

Jeff Hardy has been told by WWE management that the door is always open for him to return to the company. They also told him that if they could help him with any of his outside projects, such as his band Peroxwhy?gen or his potential reality show, that they would gladly work him into their "synergy".

Hardy explained that that he was not leaving the company due to unhappiness. He simply wants time off of the road, so that he can do things at his own pace.

Most feel that it will be when, not if for his return. The feeling is that his departure is similar to Chris Jericho's a few years ago. Jericho left to work on acting and music projects, and then returned to the company, and with a more prominent position.

Hardy has received a ton of praise for his final months with the company. The feeling is that he helped bring CM Punk to a new level in the company, and now Punk is a legit force to go against the Undertaker, which will cement his position on the Smackdown side of things. It is thought that Hardy helped with Punk's evolution to one of, if not the top heel in the company.

PWInsider was the source.

He's made the choice to leave. The doors are welcome for him upon his return, much like Chris Jericho's time out.

EDIT : He left just because he needed a break basically.

Why is Hardy leaving? Is he choosing to leave or is he being told?

Sorry, see below.

Denji probably isn't that aware of the spoiler policy on here, so lets just chalk that one down to inexperience.

Indeed.

Anyway, I thought it was common knowledge and had been for weeks?

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Degamation (GLADD) aren't happy with Vince McMahon's comments from RAW this past Monday. During the opening birthday segment for Vince, he commented that the masks that the Cirque de Soliel performers were wearing looked "pretty gay."

Here's part of a blog on the GLAAD website:

"McMahon here wasn't implying the performers were gay, however, he used the term in a derogatory manner. It's just another example of how people throw around the word "gay" derisively. This came from the leader of a $500 million-plus organization who holds a lot of power in what he says and what he does. The WWE's website states, "WWE is committed to family-friendly, PG content across all of its platforms including television programming, pay-per-view, digital media and publishing." However, off-handedly using "gay" in a derogatory manner is anything but family-friendly. WWE programming reaches 16 million viewers each week. McMahon needs to understand that the words he uses and how he uses them can greatly affect people's lives."

GLADD noted that they have reached out to Vince McMahon and the USA Network regarding the comment.

I'd actually say they're quite right to take the action they're taking. Not sure that homophobia in such a way should be put out on a PG rated program.
