I know you rate Byrne highly, prob higher than Pittman, so you wont agree with me, I like him too and think he's been excellent at Livi, i'm just not sure he could step up a level. I don’t rate him higher than pittman I think they both do really un selfish work for the team and both good footballers. Both excellent. halkett will be at least a premiership player next season I couldn’t agree more

I think it's stretching it a bit to suggest he's "easily" the best though. I'd take Halkett in a heart beat given a chance. Not seen enough of Byrne. He had a really good game at Palmerston at the end of November though. I don't really know of another CB who's comparable to him in this league
ATLIS
I'm honestly fairly embarrassed for the club and players, it wasn't that long ago that they all shelled out to buy a drum to create atmosphere during the games. It's still sitting behind the reception having never been picked up, I'd completely forgot about it until I had to ask. Anyone fancy picking it up?

Hopefully won't get kicked out like we did in Oswestry.
Ayia Napa Daz
Wasn't at Oswestry fella. Banned from all grounds in England and Wales. Threw a deck chair at a Russian at euro 2016 and caused criminal damage to a bar in Marseille. Took the matter to court but it was upheld. Should've gone to Oswestry anyway, absolutely hate the Welsh.
LIVIFOREVER
Didn't play but the result between Falkirk v QoS went our way. 3 points clear of Dunfermline & QoS with a game in hand, and 3 points clear of Morton too. Still 3rd in the league.
andylivi1
Tuesdays game against Inverness has the makings of a big game for both clubs, Inverness win they’ll fancy making the playoffs, we win we put distance between us and them. Sad that we can’t take a bus to the game, hopefully a few make it up in cars.

Really down to the shit choice of date, and time. 2pm midweek kickoff in Inverness is the dumbest thing I've heard for a while

I agree though it’s not the best time to have a full set of fixtures, during the holidays, many families visiting, plus struggling finacially.

LiviLion
Not really surprising but confirmation that we won't be holding onto James Penrice for the rest of the season. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/loan-update/

Big boots to fill, but I have confidence in Hoppy to bring in 1 or 2 to replace the ones departing.
LIVIFOREVER
Maybe give wee Knox a run out in the 2nd half of the season, hasn't had many games this season but he looked good in the Betfred cup game against Partick Thistle and think he played in another game not long after that. Could do with another defender for cover to our back 3 and esp in fixtures coming up where we'll have midweek games. And if Boyd is badly injured we're still needing a player to fill Mullen's boots but i'm sure Hoppy will be looking into that after trying to sign Austin.

Knox played the Hibs game and was incredibly anonymous. I don't see the big deal about him.
Ayia Napa Daz
Me neither. Also missed that penalty against Dumbarton. Someone is building hype around him, but it's absolutely not been justified. Starting to have growing doubts that this guy is genuinely good enough.
andylivi1
I know he’s still young but he’s not done it for me and really don’t see what all the hype is about. Said it from day one that I’ve not seen anything from him that encourages me, I’ve watched in him in quite a few reserve games and even there he’s not a stand out. Mcnulty, Griffiths, Scougall, Dorrans all showed far more at his age, if he was good enough he’d be playing. Regarding signings i see we are trying to bring in 2 or 3 but the same number will likely go, so who’s for the chop ? Carrick ? I like him but if we sign another striker he’s probably going to be one. Peters ? I know he’s not even here atm but he’s not exactly setting the heather alight in the league below, is he even playing ? A few of the young lads ? Think we certainly need a centre back as cover, I notice Balatoni is available after being released by Falkirk, think he would be a very good player to bring in but think like Austin there will be a few in for him and it may come down to money. A striker is obviously something else Hoppy is looking at considering he went for Austin. Boyd loan extended to the end of the season and a possibility of the lad McMillan signing permanently ? LiviLion
Our game against Dundee United next month has been moved to the Friday night and will be on BBC Alba. So that'll be a lower gate then https://spfl.co.uk/news/article/livingston-v-dundee-united-on-bbc-alba/
