Swampy
I can't see Hearts getting third. If they get a home game against Basle they *might* do it but that is a very, very strong group apart from Hearts and Ferencvaros. In fact, I think in terms of the three qualifiers from that group, it's probably the hardest one for a "wee team" to get out of. Rangers have been gifted an easy draw by their standards - if they don't get out of that group then McLeish surely will be on the way out. Newcastle should really ease through theirs, too. Tormod Macleod
Are Hearts home fixtures out yet? Might goto Murrayfield for one of them if I'm not Backshift that week.
The Poker King
Are Hearts home fixtures out yet? Might goto Murrayfield for one of them if I'm not Backshift that week. From the BBC Hearts will begin their Group A section with a trip to Rotterdam on 16 October to face Feyenoord before welcoming Bundesliga side Schalke to Murrayfield on 4 November, Basle in Switzerland on 25 November and at home to Ferencvaros on 16 December. Savage Henry
I think not even Alex McLeish could fail to get the **** out that group. Despite their manager, Rangers have some outstanding players in Klos, Boumsong and Prso. I'm not so confident on Middlesbrough.
