Bryan
I have been sick of the rubbish about there being the too many foreigners in the SPL being put in the press. Between 1994 and 2000 there was too many yes, but now no. Currently about 70% of the SPL teams starting 11's are Scots, and even if you add the subs on the figure stays the same. The teams with the most Scots in the starting 11 were ICT and Dundee utd with 11 and the one with the least was Celtic with 3. If you add on the subs the teams with the most Scots in the squad with 17 were ICT and the least Celtic with 7. Granted Between 1994 and 2000 the amount of foreigners in our game has impacted that national team. But the money crisis will help bring through Scottish Players. Figures were taken this weekend and Rangers and Motherwell's were taken from the last game they played Team..........no of scots Celtic............3 Rangers........4 Livy..............6 Hibs..............7 Motherwell ....7 Dundee..........7 Hearts...........8 Dunfer...........8 Aberdeen.......9 Kilmarnock......9 ict..................11 Dundee utd.....
Gordon EF
I think the point of that argument was that the foreigners have been stifling the young Scots for the past 10 years, or however long, and we're seeing the result of that now.

Yes I agree but they are still saying it...
