Mon_The_Bairns
From bbc website, Scotland's Kenny Miller will start as a lone striker against Italy in Saturday's World Cup qualifier. BBC Sport understands the 25-year-old Wolves forward, who has netted 17 times this season, has been chosen to lead the line in Milan. Hearts' Paul Hartley may make his debut in midfield, while Everton defender David Weir and Preston's Brian O'Neil are both set for international recalls. Bit surprised o'neil has come from nowhere to be included in starting 11. Good to see hartley will get chance though im guessin he will be stuck out wide right. If o'connor was not going to start then i think miller is next best option.

Mon_The_Bairns
BBC have changed their story now, Hearts' Paul Hartley and Wigan Athletic's Lee McCulloch will be handed their first Scotland starts against Italy, BBC Scotland understands. Hartley is likely to start wide on the right, despite having blossomed with Hearts as a central midfielder. McCulloch will be on the left, with Hibernian's Gary Caldwell in a holding role in front of a back four of Jackie McNamara, Steven Pressley, Weir and Gary Naysmith. Caldwell in holding role. Still trying to get over that one. Even o'neil must be better than him there. Hope im proved wrong though.
