DA Baracus
We did warn you guys about Page. Horrific footballer. Indeed, but sadly we fans don't influence transfer policy. You'll be amazed to hear that there are plenty of Pars fans who think he was 'great' last season and that he'll be a miss. Some are moaning about this leaving us short at the back. We will still have at least 3 central defenders. People forget the league we're in and how tight our finances are. Some it seems are still spoiled by the cheating years.

I'm happy to consider millen a 4th center back but I don't understand your issue with that view. 2 players for every position is the basis most like to look at the squad. That isn't any less true in this division than elsewhere.
GordieBoy80
I honestly don't think Page was that bad. Certainly not "great" but OK for the standard he was playing at.

That's certainly true for last season. This year he might as well have liability tattooed on his forehead.

mikedafc
I see our game with Ayr United has been moved forward to Friday 10th October so we don't clash with the Scotland game. Thoughts? Bad decision on Ayr's side, will lower the away fans attendance and cost them money
parsforlife
So we have a trialist in. I can't really see why, the squad is big enough as it is. If he's an u20(and willing to be paid as such) then it can just about be justified but can't really otherwise. Perhaps a cheap center half, even though it's not absolutely necessary.

HoBNob
League two is about his level, defensive awareness is non existent.
Pars fan
He's a decent player who can definitely have a good career.
Rob1885
We did warn you guys about Page. Horrific footballer. Nah, still like him. Neil McGregor mark 2. Not sen any of him this season right enough, the moro is the first game I'll have seen since Annan in the league cup.

parsforlife
What's Kerr Young like? We've signed him Solid enough , he's decent enough on the ball also. Should have a good career in part-time football if he keeps his head down. Official line on him being released was he wanted to play more. Unofficially it's that he had been given opportunities to improve his attitude and failed to do so, with a night in the cells being the final straw. You would presume he has been signed with dargo's approval so that should help.

Socks
Page was fine last season, and overall was the best centre half in the second half of the season. He had one bad mistake to give a goal away at Stranraer but apart from that was absolutely fine. He wasn't fancy and obviously wasn't comfortable playing the ball out from the back but defensively he did well for us. This season he was a bit easily beaten for the first goal against Fakirk, and had a perfectly solid game at Forfar. Not noticeably great or awful, but nothing like as bad as made out ot be in some comments I've heard.
DAFC
JJ seems to go mental at certain players but not others. Ryan Thompson and Young are definitely two of the players he likes to have a go at. Geggan and Falkingham can be terrible for weeks and get picked all the time. Ryan scored today the made one bad pass and got slaughtered then hooked. Dressing room dynamics and politics maybe?
HoBNob
Kerr Young was absolutely awful, probably why he got shouted at so often.
