Thundermonkey
I have just created my holiday masterpiece from my DV camcorder and using Ulead editing software (free with my firewire cable). It's all set to go but the computer is not accepting the brand new DVD+R disc. It's telling me the drive is empty or the disc is full. How the hell do I format the disk? Can I use any software to do this? Can I do this using Windows XP? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Maybe it should be a DVD-R? (You've probably checked that) 2. Maybe the file is too big for the DVD? Is it longer than 2 hours ?

You need to check what type your DVD recorder will accept. +R is the most common, IIRC, and lots of DVD recorders will be able to use both. Have you tried putting a different disc in? kompressaur
When editting it with Ulead Thundermonkey what is it saving your film as? VOB? video_ts folders etc? Does it give you an option to finalise in Ulead. Dont know if this helps but it might put you in the right direction for now http://www.camcorderinfo.com/bbs/showthrea...?t=58784&page=
