ICTChris
Primal Scream (Edinburgh Corn Exchange 2000) Ian Brown (Carling Acadmy 2004) Manic Street Preachers (Cardiff MIllenium stadium 1999/2000) Oasis (Reading Festival 2000 & City of Manchester stadium 2005) Blur (Barrowlands 2003) - REM (Loch Lomond 2005) Last two were pretty much equal. Didn't really expect much from either but both were excellent.

p&b is a disgrace
Rush (3 times)Thin Lizzy (Kirkcaldy Ice Rink) 598056[/snapback] Was at the Thin Lizzy gig. Also saw Rush at Ingleston in the early '80s. Must be one of the worst gigs I've been to. No disrespect to the band - but the venue was appauling. Worst acoustics of any auditorium I've been to, with the sound bouncing off the walls.

Only ever saw Rainbow at Ingliston in 79, horrible cowshed of a building, best bit was watching people either side of the stage directly in front of the bass bins, you could almost see their sense of hearing disappear out the door. I remember that the support bands guitarist had a naff racoon tail hanging from his guitar. I also saw Rainbow at Ingliston, but it was the 1981 Difficult to Cure Tour with Rose Tattoo supporting. Great days!! I almost forgot another cracking gig, Motley Crue with Cheap Trick supporting at the Playhouse, mid 80's. Mental
