~~~ Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 They should raise the Titanic IMO Anyone else noticed in the first video the guy has been dubbed over for some reason. He also looks like an alien 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LongTimeLurker Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Sometimes on youtube the sound gets out of synch with the video stream so not sure that's really dubbed, although it definitely looks a bit weird. Here's a good conspiracy video that is more difficult to dismiss than the Titanic one, in my opinion, because a lot of the information on Iran-Contra is very much in the public domain even if the full implications of the disclosures made about Oliver North's escapades at the time were never spelled out by the media: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgIAFMaEfhU 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dr Koop Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 With all the leaks that have come to light in the past few years, you'd imagine that there would have been at least one thing uncovered about a 9/11 conspiracy, even if it was a coded mention of it or some aspect of it. Well worth a look at the theories about the planes that hit the Trade Center towers being military/non-civilian. It certainly appears the one that hit the south tower didn't have any markings on it. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
What all these conspiracy theorists seem to forget is just how utterly incompetent most governments are. Our government can't seem to go a month without leaving policy papers on trains or losing USB sticks filled with immigration figures yet we're supposed to believe they pulled off false flag attacks in London. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
garethbalesstupidface Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 youd have to be a moron to think that tbh. governments have the smartest most capable people in the world working for them. special forces and intelligence services dont recruit idiots. if anybody could do these things they could. the people who lose usb sticks are not these people. as for stuff about 9-11 its not likely anything would be written down about something like that. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NotThePars Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 Ignoring the logistical nightmare of trying to pull off something as massive as 9/11 without one single breach of confidentiality, are you really trying to suggest that only the most intelligent people get to work for the government even though you yourself have acknowledged that there have been prominent examples of incompetence from ministers, civil servants and the like over the last few years? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
garethbalesstupidface Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 we're not talking about ministers or civil servants, though I dont remember ever discussing that on here. as for logistical nightmare I dont see that really or think thats a reason to disbelieve anything. what confidentiality are you talking about? you are suggesting someone involved might phone c-span and bring it up? you dont think governments are capable of confidentiality? you think they dont keep things secret for decades at a time without us ever knowing? would you like to buy a bridge cause I've got a cracker for sale 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
garethbalesstupidface Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 I mean that really is the stupidest point anyone can make it would be a logistical nightmare so no way did they do it, you dont think building the hoover dam was a logistical nightmare? or running the nhs quite difficult no? bit of a logistical nightmare, perhaps invading mainland europe that must have been a bit of a logistical nightmare I imagine 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Greatbhoy Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 Galileo wanted to publish theories without any scientific proof and ironically, the Catholic Church which endorses scientific empirical results got vilified for placing him under house arrest and banning his publication of results. I would also add that he was against publication of proven theories from Kepler and his predecessors from ancient Egypt about the tides. Conspiracy - Media lies 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Galileo was imprisoned by the obscene Catholic church for daring to say the earth wasn't the centre of the universe. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NotThePars Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 (edited) Equating building Hoover Dam and running the NHS with orchestrating a secret terror attack on your population. Good one, mate. Of course they're exactly the same thing. Edited September 28, 2013 by NotThePars 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Greatbhoy Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 Nice try. Galileo was imprisoned by the obscene Catholic church for daring to say the earth wasn't the centre of the universe. Heliocentricism had no proof at the time. So you have tested something that can't be proved but "you know you're right". Do you publish findings that might be wrong? Also the Catholic church funded him. Of course you only know the media view eh? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Our government can't seem to go a month without leaving policy papers on trains or losing USB sticks filled with immigration figures yet we're supposed to believe they pulled off false flag attacks in London. I think even the nuttiest ones realise that. The issue really surrounds who 'owns' and 'creates' the truths we're asked or obliged by society and government to accept. Sometimes the messengers aren't competent. Sometimes the audience isn't fit to lace its own shoes and wants to be spoon fed. That's when the messengers get away with being incompetent. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
