the gub
It's hardly news, just a guy trying his best to provide for his family. If there were more like him, we wouldn't be shelling out millions on benefits !
harry94
http://footyaccumulators.com/blog/other/former-footballer-kevin-kyle-works-12-hour-shifts-as-storeman-on-ferry-to-provide-for-his-family I find it quite sad how people are following him and trying to get images of him living his life. We're not entitled to know every detail of someone's life just because they were semi-famous once.

DA Baracus
Man gets job shocker. Gi' the lad peace! This. An utter non story (although like most of the shite that the incompetent outlets pass off as 'news' these days it can be boiled down to something simple, like the above quote; most of today's 'news' is famous person does mundane every-day thing). You don't think that the vast, vast majority of fathers or mothers in this country are trying their best to provide for their families?

Shandon Par
Not sure where the Record are going with this. His performances last season didn't suggest he had sea legs but was there any need for this? They could easily have done a wee story about what was an interesting career and how he's now stepped away from football. Instead they're almost inviting us to mock him. The Record are the ones who come out of this looking grubby - good on big Kev, shame on the rag.
GordieBoy80
I don't remember the Record being as interested when Andy Tod joined the polis.
Neilly
That's because Andy Tod was a nobody in football terms. Big Kyle played for The Rainjurz ye ken?
Caledonian
Geoff Hurst ended up as an insurance salesman as did Peter McCloy, Gordon Smith and a few of the Lisbon Lions.
