Caledonian
This has 0-0 borefest written all over it. Only in 1924, 1966 and 2008 have Ayr United opened a league campaign with a 0-0 draw at home. The gap has been 42 years each time. Shouldn't happen again until 2050.

IainMorton
Was thinking earlier on today that our last game in the old Second Division before we got promoted in 2007 was Ayr United away, so kinda strange that our next fixture in that league is the same. Hopefully the result isn't the same, Ayr won 1-0 that day.
Buckfast
Any Morton fan taking an under 12 to the game and planning on coming back with them for the second game at Somerset ,can buy a Panda pals season ticket for £15 saving a whopping £1 on your 2 trips to Ayr. vikingTON
It would involve the incalculable cost, shame and rightful social disownment that comes with having an Ayr United season book though.

ayrmad
It would involve the incalculable cost, shame and rightful social disownment that comes with having an Ayr United season book though. It would also need to be double dunt time at the buroo.

Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Andy Millen is Ayr's assistant coach? Oh the Morton fans are going to love that tomorrow
vikingTON
I'm sure Scott McLaughlin would have been plenty anyway. 1-1 draw, McLaughlin to do his usual, sole 'scoring at the edge of the box from a corner while unmarked' trick, runs in front of the away fans as if he's scored in the World Cup Final, gets skelped with a pie. Morton hit back with an immediate equaliser, from our war criminal at a set-piece. Both sets of fans to rightly complain about how shite their team will be over the rest of the season.
