Legend has it that it took ballot box stuffing in a safe Labour seat in South Wales to get the Yes side over the top in 1997. It's a taboo subject in the media, but it's not safe to assume that elections in the UK (not just the failed statelet on this) are not susceptible to a bit of vote rigging. That's why i don't believe the polls are that accurate, I also doubt most of these people are signing up to register to vote for the status quo Unfortunately I think you might be wrong here, the only reason these people might be bothered getting off their arses this time is because they like the way things are, so up until now they've found no reason to vote.
