Danny also helped out with Beith Amateurs and founded Morrishill Boys Club in the town. A man who did so much for football in the town. A total gentleman to all who knew him. He had followed Beith amateurs since leaving the juniors & had hardly missed a game until his health really deteriorated. Was still coming to games before christmas watching from his daughters car. This has continued with big John, Robert and Clem who is still there. That is why it is always a pleasure to visit Bellsdale. My deepest condolences to Danny's family and the Beith footballing community. Was speaking to Danny last time Winton were up in the Ardagh Cup and was still keen to talk about Beith.
